Do you mean his sister and his mother?

He’s an only child.

Ohhhhh. Poor man.

Normal people think she was totally credible. She behaved like an honest person.

Brett’s behaved like a spoiled, entitled brat with something to hide. And he was incredibly evasive and rude.

I fear the vile, gutless GOP will confirm him anyway. Misogyny runs deep in the GOP. You noticed there are no women and no minoities on the GOP branch of the SJC.

She wasn't the one being accused of assault, attempted rape, and nearly suffocating someone.

how she left, and she wasn’t even sure what year, let alone what month or day it occurred. And everyone she identified as being there denies any knowledge of it or outright refutes it.

With only an allegation unsupported by any proof, how can so many of you feel ok about ruining a man’s life and career. It’s simply unbelievable.

Also, her psychiatrist noted Ford originally told her there were 4 boys in the room when she was assaulted while now she maintains it was just Kavanaugh and Judge.

Good. They should. There is NO reason why he should not be confirmed.

Don’t you find it odd that most women think he’s guilty but most men find him innocent?

Here’s my anecdote: DH believes her and thinks Kavanaugh is a mean drunk.

My DH knows Kavanaugh and dislikes him, which is why I said MOST instead of all.

I’m a woman and I know he’s innocent. Same with my best friend. And, several others.
I was at a function earlier this evening. Everyone, without exception, was disgusted by the behavior of the Dems. Everyone there was talking about it.

After party at Breitbart HQ?

Let me guess - you’re telepathic? You have visions?

Donald posting here again? “Everyone”??

Women rarely lie about these things.... but you have had 200+ pages of this argument. You went in gunning for Kavanaugh and was never going to believe Ford unless there was video.

It doesn’t mean it happened and it doesn’t mean it was our newest supreme. Congratulations Brett! Make ‘em Pay!

BK is going to spend decades exacting vengeance from his seat on the SCOTUS.

Truly awesome.

It’s not even worth having people like you on here when you pretend not to know anything. Seriously.

So basically it comes to this - republicans believe Dr. Ford but still think it is ok to confirm him because his crime wasn’t heinous enough to preclude a seat on the Supreme Court.

Yes it seems that way.

I don’t have a link but heard on the radio today of a poll in which 54% of Republicans think he should get confirmed even if the allegations are true.

No, you didn’t.

Np.

This?

She seemed credible. I also think it's possible that he did this but was so drunk that he doesn't really remember it, allowing him plausible deniability.

Why do you say that? Exacting vengeance on whom?

You know Kavanaugh said the same thing. That this was ruining his family and career. I don’t get it. All he ever needed to say was “I am very sorry this happened to her. I don’t believe that I did this but it was a long time ago when I was doing some heavy drinking so it is possible that it did. I am sorry for her suffering and wish her the best.” Then it would have been OVER. That is what a mature and psychologically stable person would have done.

Instead, Kavanaugh appears to believe that reputation is everything, that you are either Good or Bad, so even a hint of taint regarding something from 35 years ago is RUINING HIS FAMILY AND CAREER.

If he was really drinking as much as Judge’s memoir claims, how could he possibly know what he did or didn’t do?

Until she implied that Leyland was mentally ill or drug addled with her cryptic comments about her health. That was the first time through all the testimony I thought Ford could be a cunning liar.

She has a physical injury that made her DH become a house husband since she is incapacitated. It's not that hard to Google it, which is how I verified what she was saying.

Seriously, she publicly accepted a friend's apology. Nothing she said suggested the health problem was mental illness or drugs. Talk about projection.
