Whatever they are, they are definitely working overtime today.

Yes, the GOP is pretending those other two don’t exist.

So Ford describes the assault as the most traumatic event of her life. Yet she doesn’t know where it occurred - what street or what house, she doesn’t know how she got there or
how she left, and she wasn’t even sure what year, let alone what month or day it occurred. And everyone she identified as being there denies any knowledge of it or outright refutes it.

With only an allegation unsupported by any proof, how can so many of you feel ok about ruining a man’s life and career. It’s simply unbelievable.

Yes it seems that way.

I don’t have a link but heard on the radio today of a poll in which 54% of Republicans think he should get confirmed even if the allegations are true.

I'm with the 80%. Republicans have proved over and over that power is more important than anything else and worth any cost.

I'd say that Feinstein belongs in your description, too, and she's a Democrat.

Do. Feinstein was a great senator at one point, but at this point I think she's in it as deeply as McConnell and Grassley and needs to go. At least she hasn't hitched herself to the worst of human nature like the Republicans, though.

PP here. I'm probably not as liberal as you and do vote Republican about half the time; but as I said in a previous post, I was thoroughly disgusted by her partisan comments and Durbin's as well. I expected as much from him but was not expecting her to be so partisan and snide.

If you had personally experienced trauma years ago, you’d get this. I witnessed a rape at a high school party 20+ years ago and all I can vividly remember are the scary parts. I couldn’t tell you the year, much less the month. Nor where the townhouse was located. I do remember the guy, his name, who pointed a loaded crossbow at me when we confronted him. I remember the friend he raped. I couldn’t tell you definitely whom else was there. I was 16 or 17?

Good. They should. There is NO reason why he should not be confirmed.

Don’t you find it odd that most women think he’s guilty but most men find him innocent?

Here’s my anecdote: DH believes her and thinks Kavanaugh is a mean drunk.

My DH knows Kavanaugh and dislikes him, which is why I said MOST instead of all.

I’m a woman and I know he’s innocent. Same with my best friend. And, several others.
I was at a function earlier this evening. Everyone, without exception, was disgusted by the behavior of the Dems. Everyone there was talking about it.

After party at Breitbart HQ?

But this is not over. It’s not 1991 anymore.

Source? I heard the opposite.

Trolls post lies. Where is the link? Manchin is a no.

Don’t call me a troll. I’m crying my eyes out over this. This has been one of the worst days in the history of our country and I’m sick over this. Some in the press are reporting he could be a yes. I cited Elaine plott from the Atlantic as my source from my Twitter feed. I hope to god she is wrong. It is all speculation at this point but I’m hoping for the best and expecting the worst. This thread is awful and unhelpful.

Don't cry. Vote. Get others to vote. Let's nail their lily white old Republican a$$es to the walll.

Let your racist a*s prevail!!!!!!

Deplorables gotta deplore.

The trolls posting hateful things about Ford are probably the same people who send her hate mail and death threats.

Normal people think she was totally credible. She behaved like an honest person.

Brett’s behaved like a spoiled, entitled brat with something to hide. And he was incredibly evasive and rude.

I fear the vile, gutless GOP will confirm him anyway. Misogyny runs deep in the GOP. You noticed there are no women and no minoities on the GOP branch of the SJC.

+1 I don't get it either.

Not on here. Here is just people, small and angry on the inside, afraid of minorities and women having a voice. Afraid of the future. And they are loud, but there aren’t as many of them as there are liberals.

She's angry plus she's been in Washington too long.
