Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

What were they talking about, anyway? I can't remember. Was it really something that could not have waited until she was out if body makeup or whatever?

If you are uncomfortable talking to someone with your back turned, why not wait until she's dressed? It seems like that would be the obvious answer to keeping it professional. Also she was topless for a legitimate work reason, not just for fun.

I think we have all been in weird situations at some point we didn’t like, but then someone insisted it was fine and we didn’t want to make it weirder by saying no. Boundaries can be very tricky, so in this nudity at work context I imagine it’s even harder to navigate.

TS famously hates it when her friends take advantage of her and use her. This may not go well with BL on many levels.

TS is going to distance herself. She won’t be seen with Blake anymore. She is way too concerned with her brand.

I hope Justin takes all $400M from Blake and Ryan and I hope their careers are destroyed.

I’m not a fan of either Blake or Ryan but I don’t want anyone’s career to be destroyed. I think it would be nice for them to be a little humbled and maybe back away from the over exposure they’ve had the past year.

This will blow over in time. I do think they will cool it with the playful banter on social and I do think they probably won’t be going to chiefs games but all those are welcome changes and they will cope I’m sure. I hope Blake will stop unleashing different product lines though. The world did not need another celebrity shampoo.

Yeah, there is no way that TS is down for her name being attached to this sh!tshow.

I’m a Swiftie and annoyed that TS is friends with Blake, it’s going to damage her brand.

I agree. I felt this was likely from the start - I’ve seen Lively be really bchy and mean to nervous interviewers and I refuse to accept cluelessness as the complete answer for her plantation wedding and trying to make loving the antebellum South a thing. She’s an ahole and at this point, a substantiated liar.

TS has a song on the movie soundtrack.

In this case? That’s not true.

Such visceral hate for a woman who doesn’t affect you. People want her career to be ruined and she hasn’t even had her day in court.

They tried to destroy Baldoni’s career. They went to the NYT. They manipulated less powerful crew to commit character assasination. They shat on his family with barring them, all dressed up and supportive, from being in the theater and relegating them to a basement. Lively and Reynolds are not intelligent, and they aren’t honest. I hope they get some fraction of what they deserve, which is loss of career opportunities for both.

Take a breath. You're losing it.

Can you ask your overlord to get you a dictionary, #bossbabe?

Why are her fans so….how to put this…stupid?

I'm p*$sed for TS. BL literally said JB would benefit from having TS in his life in that text message. It was so obviously a name drop and threat. I don't think she'll drop BL, but I hope they have the kind of relationship where she can call her and be like WTH b*%ch... IDK. BL seems a little off her rocker so a call like that from TS might send her over the edge.

It’s an awkward situation. There’s no way of knowing unless the assistant or the make up artist is deposed and can say, yeah he crossed boundaries and acted weird and it was uncomfortable. I think a lot of people are having trouble believing that when there were three other women in the room, they were having a meeting or a conversation about something to do with the movie, and it just seems strange that he would just ogle her in an uncomfortable way in that scenario. Maybe he is really weird and that totally happened. But it also sounds like it just could’ve been one of those awkward situations that everyone wished didn’t happen.

I really wish it wasn’t even part of the complaint as it is very murky. It just seems like there are a bunch of situations like this that could be taken out of context. And as someone said, she is painting a pattern where she felt uncomfortable by minor incidences, which could be harassment. But he seems to be painting a pattern where she is oversensitive to things.

Like when she said he was referring to her as hot when he was talking about the temperature, her thinking he was referring to her as sexy when he was talking about her character. Her feeling uncomfortable because he hired a friend to be the obgyn and it not being clear if that alone made her uncomfortable or if the actor playing him did something to make her feel uncomfortable.

Just seems like all of these examples are based on context. And again I think if more people were deposed and we just could hear, yes I too thought that was awkward or I would’ve been uncomfortable, it would clear a lot of this up. But so far we’re not hearing from anyone else.

Yeah at the end of the day, we have to wait and see because none of us knows what actually happened. We have her version and his version. Right now we’re just saying which version seems more believable to us. Luckily there appears to be a lot of video evidence and there were witnesses, so it should be verifiable which version occurred (as opposed to two people alone in a room where we only have their version).

If even half of the evidence cited in Justin's complaint is true and made available, Blake and Ryan are toast.

I love the antebellum architecture and love many people who are from and still live in the South. You are a bigot.
