If your team wanted to be ranked higher, they'd be one of the last 4 teams standing or 1 of the last 8 for a top 8.

Good luck to Madison and Yorktown on Saturday, should be a great game.

Do you honestly think that WestPo, Woodson, and FSR should be in the top 8 rankings, over Langley, Oakton, SL? That's how the state player tourney brackets worked out, but the tourney bracket was not the 8 best teams, merely the 2 teams that qualified from the 4 regions.

Take it up with VHSL. They are the ones that set the format

Don't need to take it up with VHSL to tell me that Oakton and Langley would having a running clock on Woodson (because they did in H2H's this season 14-3 Oak over Woodson, and 17-2 Langley over Woodson).

Woodson is a regional runner up and a state qualifier (congrats), but not a top 8 ranked team.

Lucky to beat Robo

That's the weird thing. What happened to Robo on that day?

It was the same day as graduation. The team was very off. Seemed like over a dozen turnovers.

Justice is just outside top 10, but can compete with 11-15.

Not sure but Battlefield’s goalie deserves 1st team Region B and WestPo goalie in Region C. Well deserved for McLean’s goalie getting 1st team in Region D.

YT peppered all of these three and they made some great saves
- BF-G save from her knees was crazy

I think that poor WP goalie had almost as many saves as YT had goals. The ball was at that end almost the entire game.

3. Battlefield
4. Langley
5. Oakton
6. Cosby
7. South Lakes
8. Deep Run
9. West Potomac
10. Robinson

Battlefield at 3?!? Really? Is this a joke? Clearly written by a BF parent.

1. YT
2. Madison
3. Langley
4. South Lakes
5. Oakton
6. BF
7. Cosby
8. DR
9. Robinson
10. WestPo

Wrong. I hate BF as much as the next person, but while Langley has a HTH win mid season, they lost by larger margins to YT (not even close) twice to BF have 2 closer games against YT (playing real close yesterday), and BF has wins over Madison and Oakton, something Langley does not. Gotta be consistent if you want to be serious.

I can't take BF seriously when they have a cake walk to the state tournament every year because their region doesn't consistently have any competitive teams.

But…But…But….the Mag 7! 4 in a row! Pahleeze. Stop with the excuses. Win the State title or sit down and keep quiet.

Regardless of their path to states, you can’t possibly argue that they aren’t one of the top 4 teams. If you think your team is better you should have reached out and scheduled them.

BF is Top 10 not Top 4. Not by a long shot.

This is a bad take. Beat Madison in regular season at Madison and just lost by 2 to the defending champions. Name 2 other better teams. Langley is the only one you have a case for.

Oakton
Langley

Looking at schedules and BF beat Oakton by 4. Langley lost to Yorktown by 6 and 8. Closest game that Yorktown has had besides the loss to Madison and beating WA by 1 was beating BF by 2.

3 Battlefield
4 Langley
5 Oakton

Give it up. BF is Out (no surprise there). No one cares about BF. They'll have their bye to next year's state tournament again and they will lose again to a Region D team.

West po still beat Woodson with 15-20 turnovers !

BF and Langley both have a case for who should be higher ranked, but you can't dismiss the H2H. I doubt BF would accept an argument that Oakton should be ranked ahead of them since BF won the H2H. BF, Langley, and Oakton are all good teams. In a few days, we will be on to 2026.

Lots of teams beat Woodson, 11 I think.

Hmmmm, don't think that would be the case if the juice didn't intentionally play with an illegal stick. We would have won.

WePo goalie got exposed. Laughable and overrated. Ran into a lion in the jungle when they played us.

Hmm…this sounds personal. As a YT parent whose kid played club with her, nothing about her is laughable or overrated. We could have easily won by 40. But she more than held her own.

they will lose possibly to YT, but not your sorry team. Your voice gets more and more quiet as you slide away from state-level play. You are a whisper at this point, little fella.
