Little late to this but Langley would absolutely dog walk Indy any given day of the week. Argue with a wall.

I got Indy blowing passed Langley with ease. We will find out soon enough.

With Indy moving up to 6A next ear they can decide it on the field then.

Langley needs to get it done this year. Losing their whole defense to graduation.

Is the Langley Robinson game the marquee match up on Friday?

100%. They are the two best teams in the whole tournament.

Which means it’s wide open then. The top of Class 6 isn’t what it has been this season for sure.

Correct. Langley lost to Yorktown, Robinson lost to West Potomac, Battlefield beat West Potomac but lost to Cosby. Cosby lost to Robinson. Anyone but Deep Run or Gainesville could win in theory.

Predicting a rematch from last years Class 6 Final. Robo vs. Battlefield. Low scoring final. Toss up.

Hats off to Robo if they can beat both Langley and Cosby on the road after the way they played against West Po.

Gainesville @ Cosby

Deep Run @ Battlefield

Keep rooting against Indy. I think they've proven themselves elite in the current landscape of VHSL.

Should win states going away. They are more disciplined and have way more talent than you are giving them credit for.

Building a culture one season at a time. My hats off to them and looking forward to stepping up next year.

There is no one team in VHSL that has committed to lacrosse moreso over the past few years and it shows.

For their sake, let's hope they have more discipline than you, expecting to win states going away. Just one of their potential opponents has already beaten them and been within a goal already.

FYI, elite VHSL is winning state titles, they've yet to be on the field the last day to even compete for one. So any proof is forthcoming

20 bucks says the Daddy Coach leaves after his kid graduates the program turns into middle of the run Loco school. Success is impressive but sustained success is way more impressive. Loudoun Valley 2007-2011, John Champe from Opening until Indy and PVI came to town, Stone Bridge 2011-Riverside Opening, Etc.

Impressive what they've done this year but I still don't see them as "elite".

Beating the worst Riverside team they have ever had by 1 after losing 7 straight to them doesn’t classify as elite. Playing in D5 you need sustained success winning multiple states or beating relevant schools out of D5.

.

Agree. They’ve had a pretty good season but they have zero state titles. They are not elite. What Riverside did over the last five years was elite. Madison winning three out of four was elite. Langley winning four in a row from 2009 to 2012 was elite. I suppose you could say Robinson‘s 22-0 season last year was elite.

Elite and any Virginia Public School Lacrosse never belong in the same sentence together. Good luck to all in the 18u Upper B Championships.
