Official Brett Kavanaugh Thread

Today, a man who has been accused of sexual misconduct by 2 women, and who has been nominated for a position on the Supreme Court by a President accused of sexual misconduct by 20 women, will attempt to persuade 11 men that he deserves that position.

LOL, so true.

Avenatti will be revealed to be a total fraud in this case. He stepped too far. Give it a few days.

You say we cannot question the backgrounds or the motives of the accusers because that would be “victim shaming” even though their backgrounds raise serious questions about their motives.

You all nauseate me. The comments here are disgusting and reveal the true depth of the liberal mind. The fact that you convict, yes, convict this man based on no evidence shows you have learned nothing from the Duke case or the UVA case. I read oner the thread on the UVA case and some of the same types of comments were found there. Sickening.

You automatically believe the woman because, #MeToo. You don’t acknowledge that women sometimes lie and get things wrong. Oh, but we can’t say that because, “I believe her.”

Last night, it was revealed that two men have come forward with statements that they believe Ford has confused Kavanaugh for them. We’ll see what happens with these claims as the day goes on.

Sounds as if some of the people who post here have major issues based on past experiences and are projecting THEIR experiences and holding Kavanaugh responsible for them. That’s not how things work. You need to get help.

Well said.

If only there were a federal agency that did investigations.

There is. One that investigates federal crimes like kidnapping or terrorism.
These allegations don’t fit that.
Hey - maybe if you can find someone to bring an allegation of kidnapping against Kavanaugh you can get that FBI investigation.

WHOOSH

You're not very good at detecting sarcasm, are you? It doesn't have to be kidnapping. The FBI investigation is within the scope of the background investigation of the nominee. New allegations have been brought to light--the investigation should be reopened.

What these women are accusing him of are crimes. The FBI does not investigate sexual assault. They have done 6 background investigations. Nothing came up.

So when something does come up, the FBI should ignore it? Ya, that’s not how it works.

He wishes he had almost made Tucker Carlson cry. Far from it. I assume you didn’t watch it or you wouldn’t be repeating that claim.

The victim signed a sword affidavit - she has multiple security clearances. She has ricked her career. If she is lying, it isn't his fault, but yes, he would look bad. Is it Cohen's fault that Trump lied to him? Is it John Dowd's fault that Trump lied to him?

It wouldn't take much to make that d-bag cry. Probably his mom ties his bow tie too tight that evening.
