First Amendment says protesting is legal. But of course, MAGA is anti-Constitution.

They aren’t protesting. Protestors don’t obstruct or assault law enforcement.

The fact that it’s only 51% at this point shows how far the country has fallen.

However, I am confident that ICE will continue to show their asses in ways that further erodes their support.
At this point Democrats want another Kent State.

Democrats are not the ones shooting moms in the street for no reason.

Yeah, I got a chuckle out of that comment, too.

If that is true, then anyone with the IQ of a dandelion would be moving heaven and earth to make sure they don't get their Kent State. MAGA, however, is doing everything they can do to make sure Democrats DO get their Kent State.

Bwcause protesting is now a crime in this country? GTFO

It is disingenuous to pretend there is no difference between verbal and written expressions of dissent and physical actions meant to provoke, intimidate, disrupt, and otherwise interfere with entirely legal government activities with which you happen to disagree. Claiming those actions are "illegal" does not make them so; only the courts decide that. Disagreement does not imply an unfettered right to physically oppose.

You are getting into civil disobedience in this post, which is still not a capital offense. It also didn’t happen here.

We will get it all sorted out in court, don’t you worry.

This YouGov poll is a fake liberal poll that always over polls Democrats (they had Kamala winning), and they could only get 51% against ICE.

Anyway, show the poll numbers about Biden/Democratic immigration policies. Those weee a real horror show!

Ok, grandma, let’s get you back to Fox News.

Of course obstruction is part of protesting to some degree. It always has been. Pick up a history book, will you?

And don't even go there with "assaulting law enforcement" when MAGA LITERALLY beat Cap Hill police officers (as well as broke government property and attempted to disrupt election results) on Jan. 6. Seriously. Go F yourself.

Yes, protestors sometimes do obstruct law enforcement or traffic, deliberately, as a form of nonviolent direct action. That’s not new, and it’s not accidental. Participants often fully expect citations or arrest; that’s part of passive resistance, not “assault.”

Are you American? You may not be aware of our long history of using passive resistance where actions were illegal but morally justified.

Didn't you learn about "Bloody Sunday"? Marchers knowingly defied orders, blocked a bridge, and were met with state violence. At the time, officials said they were “not protesting properly” either.

The First Amendment protects speech and assembly; it does not guarantee protests will be convenient or free of consequences. Many of the rights we now take for granted came from people willing to engage in “good trouble,” knowing the law would punish them before history vindicated them.

Understand, ICE no legal standing for traffic enforcement. The team in question was not on a mission, but rather were heading to their HQ for a break. There was no reason or justification for them to stop their vehicles, much less approach any cars, particularly those of native born US citizens. So you can stop with the false narrative that you are trying to spin. The American public understands what happened here, and it is only the MAGA zealots who are trying to contort what they can see with their own eyes through several angles of the same event.

And oh, the irony that MAGA wants to send troops in to help the Iranian public shut down their religious based evil dictatorship government without looking in the mirror.

I mean, we knew this, but it’s nice to see it validated.

Yep. There is no support for ICE. Even my conservative friends are upset and pissed off. ICE will be defunded and its responsibilities will be moved to other governments agencies.

Well. . . there's multiple videos of ICE agents getting stuck in snow and not knowing how to get unstuck (civilians are not coming out to help like they would do with anybody else) and falling on ice. People in Mpls are also hoping for some seasonal weather to replace the extremely mild temps they've had.

Hope Mother Nature is listening and dumps 3 feet of snow in Minneapolis.

I think you may not be American, or if you are, you do not love our country. You haven't learned our history and you don't share our reverence for the Constitution.

You may pledge allegience to the flag, but you are ignorant as to what it represents.

51/49 isn’t bad.

Similar to presidential election results.

+1 the rest of the world knows exactly what happened here and is reporting that an American federal agent shot an unarmed American mom 3 times in the head. There is no spinning or alternative analysis.

It's sad that they're being encouraged to be in the street.
