The group organizing people like Good and her wife to commit “direct action,” need to be federally investigated and charged with criminal conspiracy.
First Amendment says protesting is legal. But of course, MAGA is anti-Constitution.
They aren’t protesting. Protestors don’t obstruct or assault law enforcement.
Yes, protestors sometimes do obstruct law enforcement or traffic, deliberately, as a form of nonviolent direct action. That’s not new, and it’s not accidental. Participants often fully expect citations or arrest; that’s part of passive resistance, not “assault.” Are you American? You may not be aware of our long history of using passive resistance where actions were illegal but morally justified. Didn't you learn about "Bloody Sunday"? Marchers knowingly defied orders, blocked a bridge, and were met with state violence. At the time, officials said they were “not protesting properly” either. The First Amendment protects speech and assembly; it does not guarantee protests will be convenient or free of consequences. Many of the rights we now take for granted came from people willing to engage in “good trouble,” knowing the law would punish them before history vindicated them.
