No he is not. He is doing the right thing and speaking up.

The problem is that this woman is capable of lying and getting people killed because she does not want to follow rules.

That she is also injuring her dog just indicates that she is an attention-whore and is a very disturbed individual. She thinks she is above the law because she has been getting away with injuring the dog. Her handling of the choking dog shows that she has done this before to the dog. She is a racist and evil woman who have gotten away with many such things and has been rewarded because she is a White woman. She fell back to a pattern that has alway got her what she wanted.

After her steller "victim" performance on the 911 call, after her various "sad" posts about her dog's injuries - it is clear as day to me that this has been her modus operendi all her life. She plays the "victim" and gets away with it.

Frankly, I would be very interested to read her essays from her Booth MBA application. I am curious to know what kind of manipulating person she is.

You're a typical asshat. What happened is what you saw on the video. The woman even admitted that that's what happened. Sorry there's no other explanation for her behavior but you'll have to go and defend someone else's racist behavior that isn't on videotape.

What people are also ignoring:

1) He thought he was the police and could enforce the law. What he should have done is called the police if it was so important.
2) He was luring dogs with treats (like he always does) and vaguely implied he would "do something she didn't like". He used the word "do", not "give", which implied he was using the treat to lure the dog so he could "do" something else to it. Giving treats to dogs is not a threat.
3) He wasn't wearing a mask, she was.
4) He called her a Karen, so in his heart he is likely as racist as she is.
5) He video-taped only her reaction, not his initial words. There's no telling what he said initially, aside from what he says in his Facebook post. It's against the law to record someone in NY without the second person's permission. She could rightfully sue him, not only for illegal wiretapping/recording, but for libel. He has ruined her life.
6) Luring dogs with treats does not solve the leash problem, so it is highly unlikely that he was threatening to give her dog treats. It is more probably that he wanted her to think that he was going to poison her dog, or take her dog.
7) If this was a white male, the media and court of public opinion would be on her side. A white male would have been seen as "mansplaining" the law to her, and threatening to hurt her dog.

Wow you went way back way back with these two examples. But I will engage none the less. Official "investigations" were conducted and in both cases it was determined that the charges/stories were false and charges were dropped. The charges worked their way through the official processes.

When charges were found to be false, claims were dropped and in both cases damages were assessed and victims compensated for their injury. These women weren't really worthy adversaries anyway, one was a damaged child and the other was a stripper.

Now compare and contrast this incident with the historical ugliness invoked by this woman's actions, she did something that many years ago has gotten many a man/child lynched, see Emmett Till, no due process in these cases. Emmett Till was lynched for whistling at a white woman.

People are rightly incensed by her actions, she called the police on a man who dared to speak to her in a critical way. She was the aggressor, she charged at him with her fingers pointing in his face, pinched and red faced, spewing spittle with each ugly utterance. Her actions could have led to a modern day lynching. Fortunately this man, "was the right kind of black man" just as Rosa Parks was the "right kind of black woman". Once he made his point he walked away, the entire time he video tapped he remained calm in contrast to her crazy racist tirade.

This isn't the first time this lady behaved this way, had the man been in a wheelchair, and had no one been looking, she probably would have knocked him over, a blind man she would have stolen his cane. She chose to exploit an "other's" perceived weakness, in this case, a man with black/brown skin. In the end her racists beliefs are what tripped her up. Intelligence, superiority and gamesmanship are not determined by the color of one's skin. This woman assumed incorrectly that the black face in front of her was the "wrong" kind of black man and she came out of it looking like a crazy racist fool. She will and should pay for her misdeeds. I predict if charges can be filed they will be. I predict she will lose her job and have difficulty finding another one.

Not PP, but this woman had an Instagram page for her dog (the one she is choking in the video), and the dog seems to have had an unusual number of injuries and near-death experiences. She seems pretty unstable so it wouldn’t surprise me if she was an animal abuser as well. Luckily, she has agreed to surrender the dog back to the adoption place.

Just out of fairness I looked up HIS family also. Activists. So I wonder if he regularly goes to the park with his dog treats and targets women who let their dogs off leash. Yes it’s against the law but we don’t know exactly what happened. If some guy popped out of the bushes with his camera rolling and his story ready I would feel intimidated. I wouldn’t walk my dog off leash in a protected garden for this and other reasons. It invites crazies. He planned it with his dog treats.

But the various injuries to her dog was chronicled in the social media account she created for her dog.

It never fails that these types of threads always end up focusing on the black guy’s actions (ie the victim). If he’s shot while jogging, then it becomes all about what he was wearing at the time or what he was doing in that part of the neighborhood, etc. If he is birdwatching, the focus then becomes why was he so close to a dog owner and why couldn’t he move away from her and why does he want all this media attention. It always turns into a huge victim-blaming fest.
