Same - I shopped in NYC in the 90s and I don't remember having to ask for dressing rooms to be unlocked. I wasn't shopping at the super fancy places all that often - but it's not like never. This detail does not strike me as implausible. And, it didn't strike the jury that way, either. Seems like it would have been easy enough for Trump to call an expert to testify about the dressing room locking habits at this story, back then, if he thought it would be persuasive in convincing anyone that he didn't grab women by the p*y any old time he wanted to. |
Roll your eyes all you want because I was shopping at Saks in Chevy Chase and Neimans, Mazza Gallerie and dressing rooms were not locked. The only place that was locked was the fur department and there you did need an attendant. If you had shopped there you would have known this, wouldn't you? |
Glad to see so many Republicans standing up for women's rights to be safe in dressing rooms, since this is such a big issue for them.
Oh wait. |
LOL yeah, that is funny, isn't it. The only way they might care is if Trump wore a dress while sexually assaulting women in a dressing room. And even then, they would still give him a pass, because MAGA Trump God. |
Actually, find it's the opposite. Target is so busy, it has a dedicated person at the dressing room constantly asking for your number of items, managing the discarded giant pile of items. Dept stores like Bergdorf, Saks, Nordstrom, etc. tend to have 1-2 people dedicated to a dept/section of the entire floor and they might be stocking the floor or ringing someone up and you find them when you need a dressing room. Back in the 90s, you didn't need to find them, you just went in the dressing room at your leisure. They might keep an eye out to check on you if you need help or a different size, but those dressing rooms are large and quiet and luxe, sometimes floor to ceiling so you don't see underneath. |
Have you ever been in a ritzy department store? Far more employees for number of customers.. And, in the '90's there would likely have been more. |
That is not true at all. |
Yes I have. Disagree. Really depends on time of day, staffing, etc. I stand by what I said, usually it's 1-2 people on a particular section of floor and they may not notice if someone goes into dressing room depending on what they're doing. Also used yo visit my sister who worked at Lord and Taylor. Back around this time was when I was shopping for wedding guest dresses somewhat frequently and would go to Nordstrom or Saks and try stuff on. I would have to hunt the floor person if the door was locked but if the door isn't the swing shut kind, it will be easily opened. I'm the person who posted about nursing my baby in a Saks which was 9 years ago, I just walked right in the dressing room and settled in, distinct memory of chatting with my husband afterwards about how nice of a spot it was to nurse if you were at a mall with a kid. |
Tell the DA and other officials, who were fired due to their cover ups. LOL. No doubt all of the Trumps would lose in NYC. How impartial would you be, for instance? |
The deposition video:
"unfortunately... or fortunately..." Tells you all you need to know. He couldn't think fast enough to stop himself from saying that there was a "fortunately" part to stars being able to grab women in the genitals whenever they want. |
Who names their cat vagina? |
By his post-verdict comments, doesn’t Trump continue to defame her? |
I honestly hope she goes after him again for this. Please. Set the standard. Please. |
Sure seems that way. I look forward to her follow up lawsuit. Christ he is such an a-h. |
About 4 years ago I was in a dresssing room at Neimans and was trying on dresses. I movement and there was a mirror face up under the door. It quickly disappeared and when I opened the door, I saw a man running out of the area. No one else noticed. |
