Normal people can deny an accusation without committing defamation.

You should look up Brogan v US which is a 1996 Supreme Court case where Scalia wrote for a majority to do exactly that.

And it’s not even like all he did was deny the accusation

I suppose T gets another bump in the polls. I don't like him at all, but this case and verdicts were beyond ridiculous. The horrible thing is that it made me even more sympathetic for T.

AlinaHabba

He’s not losing because he “denies” her accusations. He’s losing because he’s committing slander. Libel too, if you count “truth social”. The court has already found him responsible for the crime.

Well said. Perfect post.

The amount of idiots who do not understand this is astounding.

The courts already found Trump guilty of sexual assault. The current case is because Trump's an idiot who continued his verbal assaults after the sexual assault.

A man sexually penetrates a woman without her consent, lies about it, claims they’ve never met, says he couldn’t be guilty because she’s not his type, is shown a photograph of himself and that woman standing face to face in conversation and misidentifies her as one of his own wives, is found guilty of sexually assaulting her, is ruled to have defamed her by lying about and insulting her and ordered to pay damages, continues to lie about and insult her, is completely disrespectful to the court and disruptive during the proceedings, is found guilty of defamation again and ordered to pay much, much more in damages because it will obviously take a significant deterrent to stop him…and you are MORE sympathetic to him now? Please explain.

The “I don’t like him at all” pp is a big maga . They always are and you can tell by them not knowing anything about what’s in the amazingly succinct paragraph you wrote. They scratch their butt and peck out how this will make Trumpy look better? That’s idiotic. That’s a Trump supporter.

Our elite trafficked in the false story that Trump had prostitutes pee on him in a Russian hotel room previously used by Obama.

Now Trump must pay 80 million for denying the claims of this woman.

What a place we have come to.

I support you Donald!
