The longtime advice columnist who accused Donald Trump in 2019 of raping her was fired from her post at Elle. E. Jean Carroll, who helmed the "Ask E. Jean" column for the magazine since 1993, was let go from her position in December, according to a court filing published Tuesday. "Because Trump ridiculed my reputation, laughed at my looks, & dragged me through the mud, after 26 years, ELLE fired me," she wrote in a tweet Tuesday. "I don't blame Elle ... I blame @realdonaldtrump." |
Elle is dead to me. |
Same. |
She doesn’t blame Elle? Well, they’re the ones that fired you... |
It's very odd. The cynic in me thinks she was fired for cause, or for a different and invalid reason (ageism perhaps?)and this is a play to get pressure on them to rehire her. |
She was clearly fired because she’s unstable. Anyone who watched her interview with Anderson Cooper can see it.
Not falling for this victim act. |
Apparently Elle does as Trump wants? Is that what we are to believe? |
That's dumb. ![]() |
Is anyone surprised? Women who speak out destroy their careers. It’s horrible. |
Oh, BS. Speak out? As in, concoct crazy stories in order to get attention and promote a book? The woman is a mess. |
If you want to see a real mess watch Rumpus’s insane “speech” from last night. But I guess when you're a man you can get away with being a mess. |
Trump pushes to delay defamation suit: "If the court does not stay this action, the President will suffer irreparable harm," said Trump attorney Christine Montenegro during oral arguments in New York state Supreme Court."
What are those irreparable harm? Like he is going to starve or be denied healthcare? https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/04/politics/trump-lawyer-delay-defamation-suit-by-e-jean-carroll/index.html |

You know, if he wasn’t suing like every major media entity right now, this would have merit. |
It sure would. But he is, and he’s an enormous liar and so who trusts his word? |
