It's now easier to perform an abortion in the state of New York than to legally apply a tattoo.

By doctors. Not by you.

It’s a medical decision between a woman and her doctor. END OF STORY.

Just show him the money, and you're good to go!

Who's making stuff up?

It sounds more and more like a BUSINESS decision for the abortion doctors. What doctor says no to a "procedure" the pays BIG bucks? Abortion doctors ain't going it for free. Believe me.

Okay, since you used caps, you must be right.

You MUST know how abortions are HUGE profits. Plus, You're in and back out pretty quickly. Restaurants like to "turn" their tables to increase profits, and abortionists like to quickly turn their beds. The faster, the better!

You learned that working at an abortion clinic? How do you know how quickly they turn their beds? How much do abortion doctors make? You’ve seen their tax returns?

Unless you are just full of sh1t and making all of this up.

When was the last time any doctor told a poor man, "Don't worry about the bill, Sir."?

At the free clinic?

I know a few doctors and they spend 1-4 days per month working pro bono at local clinics.

I don’t know. PP probably knows because it seems that she’s spent time there.

That’s based on the abortionists you’ve met? How many have you met? You were working in a clinic?

You are right - 3rd trimester abortions cost the big bucks - typically 5-15K+. They take several days and typically include going out of state and missing work. It’s not done on a whim. Any pregnant women who can afford that sum of money and is just getting an abortion because they don’t want the baby is generally able to get an abortion at a much earlier (and cheaper) stage. Generally anyone who is willing to pay $10K + is in a pretty desperate situation - mostly severe maternal depression/psychosis or non-viability or serious anomaly of the baby or life-threatening complications of pregnancy.

Why so much? 50% of clinic costs often go toward security - security staff, bulletproof glass and the clinic building itself.

An extended family member (very pro-life) sought an 8th month abortion when that baby turned out to be anencephalic - no higher brain developed, only a brainstem. The baby could have been born and lived as much as several years. Parents chose termination and went on to have 4 other healthy children. I personally cannot imagine if the state had prohibited their choice.
