That’s arguably the old bill. The new bill, by contrast, would permit 40th-week abortions in situations where the mother suffers even “[in]substantial[]” and “[]remediabl[e]” “mental...health” harms. Your description is like defining “computer” to mean “a device for checking sports scores.” Literally true, but so specific and unrepresentative that, practically speaking, it’s wrong. |
Anyone? |
| Child death on demand is barbaric. |
My grandmother suffered horrible psychosis while pregnant. Her children were taken away from her because of it and were forever traumatized. I know someone else who committed suicide because pregnancy-induced depression. Hormonal depression and psychosis are real things. Just ask Andrea Yates. Are you making fun of women who suffer from pre- and postnatal depression and psychosis? |
| How exactly is "emotional health" defined? |
By doctors. Not by you. |
Well, under this bill, it would include “insubstantial[]” harms |
Again, HOW exactly is "emotional health" defined? |
Doctors get to decide. Why don't you ask some? |
It’s a medical decision between a woman and her doctor. END OF STORY. |
Just show him the money, and you're good to go! |
Who's making stuff up? |
This. If you don't think you want or need an abortion, don't get one. Carry that severely ill baby to term, talk to your doctor, make your own decisions. Don't be a coward and have government make your decisions for you. At least that's what conservatives usuay want. |
It sounds more and more like a BUSINESS decision for the abortion doctors. What doctor says no to a "procedure" the pays BIG bucks? Abortion doctors ain't going it for free. Believe me. |
Okay, since you used caps, you must be right. |
