This is crazy. The officer literally shot in 3 seconds. She didn't have enough time to respond. There was no justification or reasonable explanation for what the officer did. That was second degree murder.

There's something very wrong with how police officers are being selected and trained.

But, oh my god, if I’m in my own bedroom in my own home at 2:30 am and someone lurking outside, yells “PUT YOUR HANDS UP” — I have to put my hands up? In my bedroom? at 2:30 in the morning? At the command of someone outside my window in the bushes?

I’ve come to this thread in the past to point out stories that don’t support the thread title.
But this story of the young woman killed in her home, there are no words. When does this madness stop? How does something like this happen?
