Work as a homecare CNA in a luxury development.
Being dropped off at your homecare CNA job in a luxury development by a family member. Having a family member drop off a meal to you at your job as a homecare CNA in a luxury development after you had worked 24 or 36 hours straight providing care. This was in a rural county in Maryland with a large African American population. I went to high school here and the public high school that I attended was about 70% African American and about 30% white. We had both white and African American CNA's caring for Mom in her home. I had some white CNA's but mostly had African American CNA's. I never got complaints from the neighbors when the white CNA's came to work, or when their spouses dropped them off at work or when a family member dropped off a meal. The neighbor complaints were ongoing re: African American CNA's being dropped off for work and having meals dropped off etc |
