+1 I don’t feel an absence at all in my disbelief. Quite the opposite. |
If pp could just force him/herself to believe in God, a lot of money on therapy could be saved - plus pp could live in a happy delusion, like so many other believers -- as long as they follow the straight and narrow path provided by Jesus. Be careful, though, not to screw up, because if you do, instead of just permanently losing consciousness when you die, you instead spend eternity burning in hell. |
Wonderful opportunity?!?!?! Try telling that to a child in Syria, to one dying of cancer. Life is full of pain, and the pain is completely without purpose. All the pain of dying children, tortured wives, etc is without meaning. Life is an opportunity to suffer (unless you just happen to be a wealthy white person). And all the suffering you go through in this life is completely without justification and meaning. |
“And thus Jesus' undeserved death pays for our sin (see Mark 10:45; 1 Tim. 2:5-6; Rev. 5:9); and God's demand for us to be perfectly righteous is satisfied by the imputation or crediting of Christ's perfect righteousness to us. " People who don’t understand Christianity should refrain from displaying their ignorance. |
There are wealthy people of all colors. |
NO question, life is a gamble. And the afterlife is a lie. Life is all we got. Hope you have a relatively good one. |
According to Christians, people who don't choose to believe Christianity, or go through life without ever hearing about it, will burn eternally in hell after they die. But if you do hear about it and accept Jesus as your savior, then according to Christians, you will live forever after you die on Earth. |

“Be careful, though, not to screw up, because if you do, instead of just permanently losing consciousness when you die, you instead spend eternity burning in hell.“
Completely false. Completely. You haven’t the slightest grasp on Christianity. |
What about "He who believeth in me shall have everlasting life"? What about all the missionaries who are trying to save souls? Please explain. |
Could you please help us ignorant people understand the bolded section above? |
So humans have no responsibility for their actions? I'm not saying I am a very religious person but, why not blame people? |
people are to blame for doing it and God is to blame for not stopping it and allowing innocent children to suffer. But since Myanmar is not Christian, those babies, had they grown up, would have been destined for hell. This way, as innocent children, they go to heaven. |
