You are missing a little detail  after Adam and Eve sinned, God cursed the earth making it harsh against Adam and Eve.

In the beginning, the eye-burrowing worms were useful creatures but after the earth was cursed, it probably  mutated into the harmful creature it became.  And no, it did not evolve from anything, because mutations do NOT cause one kind of creature, say, a mouse, to change into another, say, a bird.   Macro-evolution is bunky-junky science made up from fibs and fabricated nonsense.

You are absolutely right.  There is no God.  The universe is a horrible random cesspool with no redeeming features whatsoever.  Even the beautiful blue sky is evil because it shines down on dead children and people with nothing better to do than mock people on the internet.  It is all random, hopeless, ugly, and pointless.  There is no God, there is no good, there is no beauty.  Why don't we just admit it?  All the evil, suffering, horribleness of this world is for no good reason.  There is no redemption for pain.  We come to this world for no reason, suffer, get dementia, hurt those around us, and then die, all for no reason.  You are absolutely right.[/quote]

There are many -- perhaps most -- non-believers in god who don't feel the way pp does.  In fact many people, once they reject god belief, appreciate life even more, realizing what a rare, wonderful opportunity it is.[/quote]

Wonderful opportunity?!?!?! Try telling that to a child in Syria, to one dying of cancer. Life is full of pain, and the pain is completely without purpose. All the pain of dying children, tortured wives, etc is without meaning. Life is an opportunity to suffer (unless you just happen to be a wealthy white person). And all the suffering you go through in this life is completely without justification and meaning. [/quote]
