Trump went 424 days without holding a solo press conference—from February 16, 2017, until November 7, 2018. This was the longest stretch without a press conference by a U.S. president in modern history. WHILE HE WAS PRESIDENT - and you didn't care about the media blackout and you didn't care about his "policies" |
Da, you will “plug nose” and vote Trump. (That’s not the idiom, and there’s also a 100% chance you’re already a Republican) |
The Washington Post has become a right wing rag. Second of all, because Republicans struggle with internet basics like citing their source and supplying a link, it’s a Catherine Rampell op ed. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/08/15/kamala-harris-price-gouging-groceries/ Suffice to say it’s going to be about as fact based as your average Fox propaganda piece. |
Democrats have dominated US foreign policy for 12 of the last 16!years. Yet it’s always Trumps fault. Y’all need therapy. |
I didn’t realize the Fulton County DA had that many employees. |
The Prime Minister of Norway would like a word. https://www.npr.org/2018/01/10/577163190/president-trump-holds-press-conference-with-prime-minister-of-norway |
You think RFK stole her thunder? HAHAHAHAHA! |
+1 hahah |
Way better than Trump's "EVERYTHING IS UNFAIR TO ME!!!!" platform. So sick of his I's. |
Okay thanks for confirming your ignorance. Next. |
Yes. Undeniably. RFK and JD were all over the talk shows this morning. Trump is out giving podcast interviews today, Sunday. Where the hell is Kamala? |
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/23/us/politics/harris-battleground-state-tour.html She’s taking a respite weekend in DC. Kamala Harris will return to Washington Friday as Donald Trump turns attention to the Southwest Harris will return to the White House after the Democratic National Convention, while Donald Trump will have appearances in Las Vegas and Arizona. |
This means exactly nothing - but I was just talking with my in laws, who are white working class voters who have been Republicans until Trump, and who live in a red-voting part of New York.
Before Biden dropped out, they told me they could never support Harris. They just didn't like her. Today they told me they've changed their minds and now they think she is good. They are really enthusiastic about Walz. They help me level-set when I get too deep in my little Reddit/DCUM/podcast/Twitter bubble. I was really happy hear they are feeling good about this ticket. Anyway, that's a data point of one. Here's another data point of one - I live in a blue part of a red state. There's a guy in my area I see sometimes wearing a Trump shirt when he's walking his dogs. A couple of months ago I told him it made me sad to see him wearing that shirt. Yesterday, I was talking to him again - and he said some of his friends have cut him off because he's supporting Trump. He actually thanked me for still being polite to him when I see him out with his dog. (It's for the dog.) |
Biden-Harris don’t work weekends. |
