To my husband’s work AP

This level of arrogance is just astonishing from someone in a high position. They really have no clue of how toxic it is for the office when they use abuse their position.

What happened to the AP who was promoted? How does someone like her continue to even want to work there when people know how she got there and are disgusted by it?

She (the AP) was more intelligent than everyone in our group gave her credit for being. When HR came to her about the affair and promotion, she said that she did not feel she could turn the national leader of her tax group down without damaging her career. She also said that she would sue the firm if HR tried to use the "harassment" she suffered as an excuse to get rid of her.

So, now in her late 30s, she is effectively retired while still working. She knows that she will never be promoted and that she better never screw anything up in a significant way. Otherwise, the firm will not touch her.

I guess someone willing to cheat with a married man, doesn't have a concern about how she is viewed among fellow co-workers. It really takes having no conscience to function the way she does.

OP, divorce and get your worth, get his $$ then share with the APs husband. Raise high, then go low.

OP: Oh, he will. This is going to destroy his career.

Why destroy his career?

Do you have kids? Don’t you want/need child support?

You sound unhinged.

She doesn't sound unhinged. She's having a normal reaction to finding out the person she married has betrayed her. Who in the hell finds out their spouse is cheating and thinks to have a calm reaction, except those who already knew their marriage was over?

You understand there are stages, right?

Good on you.

Her husband has every right to know the type of person he is married to.

A man in her shoes would have been fired (with big fanfare and humiliation) long before. For being a woman she gets her cake and eat it too. Chest with a married man and also keep your job. Wow. I need a vagina lol

Okay how often are women able to promote men unjustly??? This probably only got flagged because AP was a woman lol.

I wish you had a vagina to get a dose of reality

I think the other woman’s husband has every right to know so he can protect his health and make an informed decision about his own marriage

I agree. It’s OP’s glee at the thought of bringing this pain that is disturbing.

Agree. The husband probably had an affair to make it easier to get away from her, if that's how she is inclined to act.

Get off your moral high horse. This woman has ruined OP's life. OP has every right to want to see karma kick her in the rear.
