This is a repeat of what happened with Biden. They railed against Biden't age to weaken him, but were totally unprepared for the results. Trump's campaign admitted that they stoked the anti-semitic whisper campaign against Shapiro, but now they're facing an unexpectedly formidable opponent in Tim Walz.

Times change. I for one am so sick of the drama and name-calling and I imagine others feel the same. I do think he influenced people as much as he was a symptom. He had a cult.
