| Andrew was stripped of his "royalness" |
Doubtful he will be a good King. The speech he gave for his mom’s 70th was horribly delivered. Clear he was reading it with no emotion and delivery was horrid. |
| The is is such sad news. What an icon. |
Gan-Gan not Granny |
Charles can work with certain govt agencies to forget about his brotherly problem. Andrew’s mother would never. |
I am glad the William should be king comments may now be over. After 20 years of it. |
No way was Charles ever giving up the throne. He’s been salivating all his life for this! |
|
Don’t be gross. I’m sure Charles is devastated and he’ll probably be a perfectly fine king.
The only royal I can hate on is Andrew and I’m sure even he is in pain right now. |
| There won’t be 70 years for Charles to reign, his reign per his age will be much shorter. |
He and his “wife” made Diane’s life miserable and Andrew Parker Bowles as well as all their children. They are two selfish people. They don’t deserve any respect. |
Yes, there is a lag between death and announcement. There is a lot of work to do before an announcement can move forward (ie. update webpages with new titles, photos, draft announcements, gather family members, prepare protocols, confirm name for new regus, etc.). No wonder it took them 6 hrs between her likely death and the official announcement. |

Wonder who wrote this. Certainly not TFG:
Melania and I are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Together with our family and fellow Americans, we send our sincere condolences to the Royal Family and the people of the United Kingdom during this time of great sorrow and grief. Queen Elizabeth's historic and remarkable reign left a tremendous legacy of peace and prosperity for Great Britain. Her leadership and enduring diplomacy secured and advanced alliances with the United States and countries around the world. However, she will always be remembered for her faithfulness to her country and her unwavering devotion to her fellow countrymen and women. Melania and I will always cherish our time together with the Queen, and never forget Her Majesty's generous friendship, great wisdom, and wonderful sense of humor. What a grand and beautiful lady she was—there was nobody like her! Our thoughts and prayers will remain with the great people of the United Kingdom as you honor her most meaningful life and exceptional service to the people. May God bless the Queen, may she reign forever in our hearts, and may God hold her and Prince Philip in abiding care. |
Devastated is such a strong word. She was 96. |
Dude, she was 96. |
So just to clear this one up, the Queen's grandchildren, William, Harry, Beatrice, etc called her "Granny" and her great grandchildren, George, Charlotte, Louis etc called her "Gan Gan" |
