Didn’t you say the same thing last year and in 2025? No one is afraid of the cadets program anymore. |
| Give SJC some respect. The team is loaded with college commits, only team with 4 and and 5 stars. Unless you don’t agree with IL, since they have been wrong before. |
| GO CADETS |
Prep has four and five stars. |
|
Prep has four and five stars. Prep with an 8-9 record? Dude, they blow. |
| The stars are kinda BS imho. Lots of these kids let it get to their head and they actually kinda suck. I don’t give it any weight. |
oh oh. Someone's son didn't get any stars. Tell the little guy to keep working. |
You should give stars a good bit of weight. They are given out according to guys watching games and then asking college guys for their feedback. The schools in this area consistently win more games based on the number of kids on roster who received stars, but not necessarily how many stars. The kids receiving stars also tend to go more competitive 1/2/3 schools. |
Playing for wrong HS and club. It happens. |
| IL does not have the manpower coverage to accurately assess. And on top of that they routinely look multiple times at the top players. There is lots of luck for getting a 3 star or 4 star if you happen to be playing well that one game that IL is watching. I have never seen a 4 or 3 star down graded, but they should. |
They do a pretty good job considering their top 100 all had stars and almost every single one went to a top school either academically or lacrosse wise. Yes, I wish my kid had squeezed out some stars. |
| It would be really weird if a top 100 kid didn’t have any stars. |
Exception on Military Road for several years. |
|
Prep had some 4 and 5 stars last year and they got absolutely worked by some multi sport kids at Landon.
The stars rating in my eyes are 50% accurate… you could argue it’s just lax bros competing for attention and being ranked / evaluated by other lax bros. |
Outside of the 5 star at GP. Landon had way more starred players: 2/3 attacks; both fogo's; the d mid; the lsm; 3/3 middies plus 2/3 2nd line. |
