Prep is all smoke and mirrors.

Hilgy won’t last more than 4 seasons. Hearing rumors he is clashing with the administration already.

I'm hearing the opposite in that he's already had more communication with the parents than Urick had in 10 years.

The parents love him in comparison to Urick.

The direction in which he wants to take the program is a whole different discussion.

What is the “direction”? National recruiting and using more of the boarding model?
Anonymous
Correct!

It’s why Mater Dei lax families are looking more at SJC, Gonzaga and Landon again this year.

If you are going to board there are a lot better schools with better lacrosse.

Landon, GZ and SJC are all scared of Prep these days and the direction in which the program is headed

Sure

TBD in what direction Prep headed.

Based on its marketing efforts and broader appeal to attract full-pay international families, it's becoming less of a desirable school for the local Catholic community.

Each season they play a mix of IAC and MIAA teams plus a few out of region teams, then the wcac schedule, so yeah I guess this is business as usual, if that's what you meant

Has Gonzaga posted if so can someone please post

Boys Latin
Bullis
Mcdonogh
Taft
St Anne's Belfield
Georgetown prep
Landon
Ireton
PVI
Heights
SJC
GC
McNamara
Dematha
Ryken

Here is how I see Gonzaga's regular season unfolding:

Boys Latin - L
Bullis - L
Mcdonogh - W
Taft - W
St Anne's Belfield - W
Georgetown prep - L
Landon - L
Ireton - W
PVI - W
Heights - W
SJC - L
GC - W
McNamara - W
Dematha - W
Ryken - W

There is absolutely zero chance that they beat Taft ot STAB. Both are too good and use the boarding thing to the maximum extent. And calling the Landon and GC matches in the bag for Gonzaga as W's is just not reflective of what should be close matches.

How is the fogo and goalie situation on Eye St? I don't think Mom will be able to pay for wins like she does with her son's IG and IL glazing.

This spring could be the worst Gonzaga team fielded in the post Casey ONeill era.

Ever since Bell left Taft, they are no where near program they once were.

The only people on here who think Taft is elite power are the SJC people.

And that's saying something.
