Good point.

Fred Guttenberg — the father of a slain Parkland student who was rebuffed by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh when he tried to shake the judge's hand the first day of his confirmation hearings — said Thursday that Kavanaugh's life is "not ruined."
"Justice Kavanaugh your life and family are not ruined. Try having a child murdered by a weapon that you refer to as 'common use.'" Guttenberg tweeted. "You will get through this and hug both of your children tonight

BREAKING: Ford's polygraph expert has been a subcontractor of the Democrat law firm representing Ford in DC. Hanafin's a "progressive" from Boston who says that when administering polygraphs on "victims" like Ford u automatically "believe them" & don't ask them specific questions

What a surprise. I'm shocked!

Are you as shocked that Bretty’s refusing to take one at all? Coward!

Was he asked and said no? I don't recall that.

He didn’t offer it as part of his defense. You think if he had passed a Polygraph, he would be trumpeting it from the rooftops.

They lost Chris Wallace and Megyn Kelly (who, while no longer technically Fox is still pretty much them).

The Republicans will put that spittle-flecked rage monster on the Court.

This guy is a SERIAL RAPIST. I'm sure he's probably done other things we aren't aware of, too. I wouldn't put murder past him, especially if any of his victims ever resisted.

Jeff is not removing this? Wow. It has nothing to do with Kavanaugh at all.

I agree. I reported it. But, still here.

I reported it too. Amazing.

Please. It’s been all of 15 min. Believe it or. It, Jeff is not glued to the site 24/7. He might actually have had to take a leak or is eating breakfast or dropping his kids off at school.

And yet, here it is. Twelve hours later. So interesting.

How stupid are you? The original post was removed as soon as I saw it. Two separate posters quoted it with their whiney complaints. It takes a real idiot to quote a message that you think should be removed. Do you really expect me to go through 200 pages looking for every quote of a post?

I really can't believe that anyone who saw his behavior to Congress today would want him confirmed. He acted like a badly spoiled child.

I believe there are several trolls on here. Jeff outed one, who likes to portray herself as a liberal lawyer, yet who usually uses that opening to attack Democrats at every turn.

Oh shut up. I am that liberal lawyer and Jeff didn’t say otherwise. And I thought Kavanaugh’s performance was awful.

- NYT Editorial. Biased source you might say, but in this instance, I completely agree with them.

One thousand percent.

He came in basically saying, "I deserve this appointment and waa waa you're trying to take it away from me." Petulant and entitled.

My sense, too. He really has an arrogant, entitled air about him. “I got into YLS!”

He has been wrongly accused of horrible acts. He is not going to be calm and dignified. He’s mad as hell at this crap. And, yes, I would be very contemptuous of the Senators who managed to turn this hearing into a fiasco. I do not blame him one little bit.
And, the NY Times? Full of crap.

I expect better from a Supreme Court nominee. On another day, I suspect you do too.

Frankly, Dr Ford did herself no favors today. The naive little girl act was ridiculous. She came across as a very dim bulb.

so you hope. So trump hoped. So Kavanaugh hoped.
She was completely convincing. Kavanaugh - what we know now is he has no self control and he was pretty much the epitome of every lawyer joke about lawyers being assholes.

Everyone watching can believe he is a rapist when he drinks. Everyone.

It is generally agreed that Ford was extremely convincing. Even journalists at Fox News thought so.

Kavanaugh, sadly, destroyed himself. He came across as the aggressive entitled frat boy he is. Even without any other reasons to disqualify him, based on his whiny yet belligerent attitude this afternoon, this unbalanced person has no business around the Supreme Court. A Supreme Court Judge should never let herself or himself be provoked to respond in such an immature way. I cringed for his poor wife.

Yes. He made it all about himself, not the country. The country deserves to have this hearing and more than this hearing, an investigation. If he is being vetted for the highest court in the land he should willingly submit to it in a calm and dignified manner. Forget the theatrics and political grandstanding. He was being ridiculous. He knew this was a political spectacle to be adjudicated by Trump's base and he could care less about the millions of other Americans out there whom he serves, including survivors like Dr. Ford.

Right, why is everyone acting like it's him or nobody? The right can pick someone else with the same political stance as this guy, why are they so committed to him in particular when he's shown himself not to befit a lifetime appointment to the highest court? Like ANY OTHER RIGHT WING JUDGE, PICK ONE. This guy has demonstrated himself to be unfit.

And Brett’s life was ruined by his drinking and his decision to treat women as objects.

She has a physical injury that made her DH become a house husband since she is incapacitated. It's not that hard to Google it, which is how I verified what she was saying.

This. Leland knows this was all made up. She said under oath she never met BK. Ford figured her friend would lie for her.

No. Leland said no such thing. She says she does not remember the party. Stop lying. Stop it.

DP here. She did say she never met Kavanaugh.

Republicans already said they are holding the vote tomorrow.

This means they have the votes to confirm.

Game over.
