Official Brett Kavanaugh Thread, Part 2

I don't care about his high school antics as much as a care about his character now. He was belligerent and incredibly rude.

X1000 I couldn’t believe what an arrogant jerk he was. Completely disrespectful. I get that he was angry and upset, but his behavior was way beyond simply showing his emotions. He was flat out rude.

As a conservative, I was actually thinking that Ford was a bit ditsy, but very believable. Until she implied that Leyland was mentally ill or drug addled with her cryptic comments about her health. That was the first time through all the testimony I thought Ford could be a cunning liar.

- NYT Editorial. Biased source you might say, but in this instance, I completely agree with them.

One thousand percent.

He came in basically saying, "I deserve this appointment and waa waa you're trying to take it away from me." Petulant and entitled.

My sense, too. He really has an arrogant, entitled air about him. “I got into YLS!”

This guy is a SERIAL RAPIST. I'm sure he's probably done other things we aren't aware of, too. I wouldn't put murder past him, especially if any of his victims ever resisted.

Jeff is not removing this? Wow. It has nothing to do with Kavanaugh at all.

I agree. I reported it. But, still here.

I reported it too. Amazing.

Please. It’s been all of 15 min. Believe it or. It, Jeff is not glued to the site 24/7. He might actually have had to take a leak or is eating breakfast or dropping his kids off at school.

And yet, here it is. Twelve hours later. So interesting.

I really can't believe that anyone who saw his behavior to Congress today would want him confirmed. He acted like a badly spoiled child.

Just like Tan-trump.

Sadly for Reality TV Nation, that's what passes as good enough entertainment.

An ounce of perspective for snowflake Kavanaugh.

Fred Guttenberg — the father of a slain Parkland student who was rebuffed by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh when he tried to shake the judge's hand the first day of his confirmation hearings — said Thursday that Kavanaugh's life is "not ruined."
"Justice Kavanaugh your life and family are not ruined. Try having a child murdered by a weapon that you refer to as 'common use.'" Guttenberg tweeted. "You will get through this and hug both of your children tonight

BREAKING: Ford's polygraph expert has been a subcontractor of the Democrat law firm representing Ford in DC. Hanafin's a "progressive" from Boston who says that when administering polygraphs on "victims" like Ford u automatically "believe them" & don't ask them specific questions

What a surprise. I'm shocked!

Are you as shocked that Bretty’s refusing to take one at all? Coward!

Was he asked and said no? I don't recall that.

Anonymous wrote:I'm still in shock that she accused her friend Leland Keyser of perjuring herself.

This. Leland knows this was all made up. She said under oath she never met BK. Ford figured her friend would lie for her.

No. Leland said no such thing. She says she does not remember the party. Stop lying. Stop it.

But without endless lies, why would you ever be a Republican? These people might as well live in the world of the hobbit, they’re so disconnected from reality.

He was a buffoon today.

Not in my book. He said what needed to be said, and I'm glad he looked directly to his left at the two who most needed to hear it.

He looked INSANE. I am in shock that that is a person who is supposed to be a leader in this country. Clearly cannot handle stressful situations very well. Not a good look.

I was expecting to see him start frothing at the mouth any minute. Just the qualities we want to see in a level-headed justice.

Hi. You've got a long thread ahead of you. Happy reading!

Kavanaugh was playing to the Fox News crowd who no doubt lapped this up.

I believe there are several trolls on here. Jeff outed one, who likes to portray herself as a liberal lawyer, yet who usually uses that opening to attack Democrats at every turn.

What page was that?

He has been wrongly accused of horrible acts. He is not going to be calm and dignified. He’s mad as hell at this crap. And, yes, I would be very contemptuous of the Senators who managed to turn this hearing into a fiasco. I do not blame him one little bit.
And, the NY Times? Full of crap.
