Republicans lost so hard on gay marriage that they've gone quiet about it. That doesn't mean they'll stay quiet if they start winning more power again.

+1 They and their plans Project 2025 want gay people back in the closet.

project 2025 is not associated with trump. He has disavowed it many times

The man lies so much, you don’t know when he is telling his truth or another lie. How do you know he is speaking truth now. What we do know is that the architects of Project 2025 are former members of Trumps White House, the far-right Heritage Foundation, and the republican vice president nominee. So you want people to take the word of a habitual LIAR when the proof is in the pudding that he is for it. We also know that trump agrees with the last person in the room and is easily persuaded by flattery and money.

Trump privately supports Project 2025 because his followers support it.

He also support QAnon because it helped with the white, suburban housewife vote.

He’s lying again. He still supporting Project 2025.

Uh huh. Kamala was Biden’s immigration Czar.

Exactly. What a disaster Kamala is.

Democrats create jobs. Republicans give the rich tax breaks.

Businesses create jobs. Democrats raise company taxes and raise wages for low skill jobs meant for teenagers, which cause businesses to close and jobs to die. Watch and learn.

We have been watching for decades.

“Trickle down” is 100% bullcrap.

What’s causing the economic problems today?

Somehow, by a 50-1 ratio, more jobs are created by businesses under democratic administrations than republican administrations.
Somehow, the last three republican presidents left office with a recession at best.
Somehow, the last three (including Biden if things hold) will have left office with a stable, growing economy.
Somehow, the management of the debt is better under the democrats.

What’s causing the economic problems today?

What economic problems?
Biden inherited a dumpster fire in COVID and the follow on supply chain issues. Under his leadership, he managed to get the economy re-started, and with the CHIPS Act, managed to get meaningful repatriation of manufacturing jobs in the US.

Sure, there is inflation, but that is a worldwide phenomenon and it is not as bad in the US as it is everywhere else.

But compared to everywhere else in the world, the US economy is the envy.

There are 2 million open jobs in the US that need to be filled.

So, what problems?

False. They are here seeking asylum. That is legal. The problem is, not enough administrative judges to hear their cases in an expedient manner. Since the Cold War, Democrats 50 million jobs created versus republicans 1 million. Donald Trump actually had a deficit in job creations. That is, Donald lost jobs during his tenure in the White House as he raved about Clorox to defeat Covid. Biden brought manufacturing jobs back to the USA and Donald gave billionaires a tax cut and a tax hike to the middle class.

Businesses should close when they can't hack it without huge government handouts.

Guess what? They are replaced by businesses that are well run and can carry their own weight.

Businesses do much better under Democratic governments than under Republican governments. Republican Presidents consistently crash the economy. Democratic Presidents rebuild the economy. The 50 million jobs under Democrats to 1 million under Republicans statistic since 1989 is mirrored in the statistics of many more small businesses created and expanding during Democratic administrations. The only business statistics Republicans lead in are more frauds and bankruptcies.

Democratic presidents have overseen the economy during periods of booming job growth. The economy added 23.2 million jobs during the Clinton administration, and another 10.5 million jobs during the presidency of Barack Obama.

Over the first three and half years of the Biden administration, the economy has added 16.2 million jobs.

George H.W. Bush oversaw the creation of 2.6 million jobs, while George W. Bush helped the economy add another 2.1 million jobs. A portion of those gains is wiped out, however, by 2.8 million job losses under Trump

False. They are here seeking asylum. That is legal. The problem is, not enough administrative judges to hear their cases in an expedient manner. This requires a legislative fix to hire the judges and fund their courtrooms. There was a bi-partisan bill to address this and Trump told the GOP not to pass it. Harris said she would sign it. Trump has made no such claim.

No matter how much the right wing media tells you otherwise, seeking asylum is legal as a matter of international and US law.

What would help is money and authority legislatively to build the legal infrastructure to adjudicate these case more expediently. This has been needed for 30 years. Yet, when there are GOP majorities, the party does not prioritize this. On three occasions when there was a Dem president and a split congress, a bi-partisan bill was offered and on all three instances, it was killed by the GOP. So the right can just sit down when it comes to complaining about the border and immigration.

If they weren't legally seeking asylum, they would disappear into the woodwork. But they are legally seeking asylum, and often, rejected.
