That’s my belief as well. And, that he lied about never having blacked out. Or he might not know he ever blacked out unless someone brought up what happened.

Why do you believe Leland Keyser is refusing to confirm this ever took place? Ford volunteered her as her witness, after all.

She said that she didn't RECALL. Not that it didn't happen.

Yeah, I can't imagine why he'd be furious, being questioned about vomiting, quarters games, and farting.
I was so incredibly embarrassed for Whitehouse - and for our country - when he went down that road. The rest of the world must be laughing hysterically that a U.S. Senator saw fit to question a SC nominee on the intricacies of his high school yearbook. Unbelievable.

What leg are most of you standing on? Can anyone honestly address that without some kind of name-calling?

What logic makes the calendar evidence but the medical records not?

Or the yearbook not.

Or the polygraph not. He could easily take one that shows he isn’t lying. That would discredit that piece of evidence. I understand they’re not useable in our justice system, but welcome to the people’s court, Brett.

They are totally fine for government background checks, according to [checks notes] Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

Lynne Brookes, a Yale classmate of Brett Kavanaugh’s is dropping BOMBS on him as one who “drank to excess” on a habitual basis. She calls him a liar and says she and her friends were “very disappointed in the way he portrayed himself” at the #KavanaughHearings. @CNN

Lynne Brookes former Yale classmate of Brett Kavanaugh is destroying him on @ChrisCuomo ‘s show tonight. Witnessed him barge in on women having sex with their boyfriends just to laugh and humiliate them while completely hammered.

Good. They should. There is NO reason why he should not be confirmed.

Don’t you find it odd that most women think he’s guilty but most men find him innocent?

Here’s my anecdote: DH believes her and thinks Kavanaugh is a mean drunk.

My DH knows Kavanaugh and dislikes him, which is why I said MOST instead of all.

I’m a woman and I know he’s innocent. Same with my best friend. And, several others.
I was at a function earlier this evening. Everyone, without exception, was disgusted by the behavior of the Dems. Everyone there was talking about it.

Cool story, bro. Every woman I know - including GOP women - believes Ford and thinks Kavanaugh is a total douche and has anger issues.

Republican Women Lose Faith in Kavanaugh — and Trump — After Week of Accusations

I bet you this changes after his testimony. It changed my mind. I now believe him.

I flipped the opposite way. His testimony was awful.

It truly was, unsubstantive and based purely on emotion and righteous indignation. Sure, we can believe based on that display that you are legitimately upset about this hearing and the personal impact it has on you and your family. That has NOTHING to do with whether or not you were guilty of what this woman has said you did to her. You can be guilty of something heinous, and emotional about the personal and professional fallout when you're called out. Only if you're a wealthy white male do you actually garner sympathy and credibility for that emotional display.

Flashback:
Joe Biden himself said FBI investigations are always INCONCLUSIVE.

I know someone who learned FBI interrogation techniques and he taught me that if a person does not directly answer a direct question, but instead goes into a narrative,!that’s an indication that they are lying.

I think a lot of this could’ve been avoided if he was just truthful. If at the very beginning when he heard the allegations, he came out and said “I do not remember the incident. However I understand that Dr. Ford had something terrible happen to her and I am terribly sorry to hear about it. If I indeed did do What she said I did, I caused her pain and I regret it. I drink in high school and I was a different person and as I am today. I have grown and changed since that time. And I am so sorry that this occurred “. He said something like that, this would have blown over because he would’ve shown regret. But him saying that he could not of assaulted her because he was a virgin and then doubling down as if he was a choirboy in college. It’s disingenuous and I just don’t find him credible.

Senator Graham is the hero of the day.

Here's the thing, she's willing to have the FBI investigate her for that. Not 11 partisan hacks who will pass their findings over to Kavanaugh. The FBI can be impartial on this, People like Lindsay Graham obviously cannot.

Doesn't the Biden rule say that we shouldn't have a vote on Kavanaugh because the midterms are coming up?

I think he'll be confirmed. 54% of Republicans think he should be confirmed even if the allegations are true. They think it's a youthful indiscretion and a "good" man shouldn't be denied the opportunity to be on the supreme court.

What disgusts me the most about this is how much he seems to believe that he is owed this. That he deserves to sit on the supreme court. The entitlement of this man is just sickening.

People are denied jobs at mcDonald's over a Facebook post. This dude gets to sit on the highest court in the land?

Just stop.
He was nominated and accepted the nomination. And, then, the crazies came out of the woodwork.
His reputation has been destroyed. He DESERVES to be heard and to clear his name of these ugly allegations.

Agreed. And the idiot Senator Whitehouse, delving into Kavanaugh's yearbook?? Asking him to explain all the stupid inside jokes from high school? That was a real low point. If I had been Kavanaugh, I would have declined to entertain such an absurd line of questioning.

All those jokes about drinking and sex, from a yearbook during the same time period as an assault? That's kind of relevant.

And it's even more relevant since he lied about the meaning of all those "jokes." He lied easily and often. I'm sure he lied about other stuff too.

How do you know he lied about the meaning of the jokes?

The world was definitely laughing hysterically when a nobody pol saw fit to question a U.S. president on the intricacies of his sex life.

Because we know what words mean.
Petty Bretty perjured! Again!

Kavanaugh's sense of entitlement was out of this world. If he weren't an Irish Catholic I'd have thought for sure he was a WASP.
