| I love sandwiches on pretzel rolls and I don’t care how provincial that makes me. |
| I am here for the all the food truck hate. |
+1. There have been documentaries and investigative articles about the psycho almond industry and how it basically dictates, and ruined, land and water in California. Those pieces inexplicably didnt really get a cultural foothold but are worth a deep dive. Oh and I’ll add that even with all that aside, almonds are the sawdust flavor of the nut world. |
Sure! I think natural peanut butter is better, but I be that would work. Or at least be worth a go. How sweet of you to be willing to try! (I might just be crazy. I think I may have said it was the best thing my ex left me? Never would have tried on my own.)
Sorry about late reply -- I've been ODing on Political Forum and living in the land of migraines. |
I add orange liquor to my cranberries and it’s freaking amazing |
Omg I’m invested. I really want PP to come back and tell us what she thought. There is no way I could bring myself to try this. |
Have you considered that he may have been trying to slowly kill you? |
NP. They adding a little cinnamon and cardamom too. AMAZING |
Try, I meant. |
No, this was early on, when things were still good. He'd occasionally grab a quick breakfast after a run, with a quesadilla wrapped around a piece of sharp cheddar. Added peanut butter for more protein. I thought it sounded DISGUSTING. (I KNOW. I really do.) But it was oddly not peanut-buttery? Just, maybe, richer? more depth of flavor? Anyway, my work used to do themed potlucks before COVID. I was going to wait until we started back up and it was my turn, and I'd propose a theme of "unexpected combinations" and try it out on people. I'm kind of giddy that I might be able to do it anonymously instead. |
No. Doesn’t everyone think that? |
| So many hate Thanksgiving and turkey. For theove of god, brine your turkey people. Follow the NYT's brining recipe to a T. I am absolutely salavating at the throught of a nice, very tasteful and not dry turkey using that brine recipe and topped with gravy. Soooooooooo good. |
I only like them burnt. |
Tried it. Still would rather have any other type of meat. |
Try dry brine and buy a quality turkey. Well raised turkey tastes so flavorful. |
