It’s a great school and has been ranked as high as 8th nationally. Law and Med schools have been ranked in the top three. Trolls gonna troll. Am happy for Sasha for eschewing the tragically desperate crowd who seem incapable of amassing self worth without superficial external validation. |
What baffles you? Sidwell alum here. It was a common joke that Michigan was an awful safety school for the students that barely studied and partied. It's an awful choice for a president's daughter. |

Why does every Michigan alum (or nutty parent) have to exaggerate what their undergraduate college is? The wealthy kids from good prep schools who end up there were relatively unimpressive students drawn to Ann Arbor to be in Greek life with high school friends and do the rah-rah binge drinking thing on football Saturdays. It is what it is.
Of course you can find some very impressive, very intense grinds there, but kids with her affluence and pedigree end up there to party and pick up an easy somewhat respectable degree. |
