I have a great marriage with an active sex life.

I also regularly fantasize about a particular person who is completely and totally inaccessible. There is no possibility of a relationship with this person. I adore DH, but this person fulfills pretty much everything I consider ideal in a man.

5 and 8. They’re just loud, obnoxious and scream-y, and don’t play well with others. The parents don’t do much about discipline so the other kids in the group don’t want to play with them. They make group get togethers chaotic so everyone is doing a slow fade and just not inviting them to things anymore.

Your kid has some real issues and putting your head in the sand won't help. I've tried to offer perspective but you dont like serious discussions, so it'll be what it'll be. Hope it gets better.

You are correct, but there are other boys in the group who are not a problem. I don’t want to get too specific, but parenting (or lack of) matters.
