I think there must be a record of every special placement. I hope it comes to light. Snowden and Rodriguez should suffer all he shame. We need the other names to spread the shame around.

DCPS can barely manage the paperwork it's legally required to maintain. I have a feeling this secret list will never materialize

I am certain that the secret list will never come to light and everything will go back to normal. The kids will stay in their preferred schools and the adults will not be punished.
Bending the rules and special treatment to personal benefit is a big motivator for public office.

It's like with DC school residency cheating. Every now and then parents get spun up or there are press articles on how it turns out that some DCPS student caught for something really lives in PG, etc. DC vows to police residency requirements more vigorously, and there are the usual excuses about divorced parents/nannies/grandparents/out of state car registrations/people moving back and forth/'compassionate principals', and then people go back to wondering about the sheer number of MD cars at drop-off and pickup, the kids who get mum about where they live and so forth. The old DC way just keeps rolling along.

I think you're right, but this is more asphalt for an anti-Bowser lane in the next primary. She handled this terribly.

She lived in NE. Didn't want to send her child to IB school, so enrolled him at Lowell. Then got a chancellor approved transfer to a better DCPS.

Watkins was never in the mix.

Her kid got into Watkins but that wasn't good enough so she pulled for Capitol Hill Montessori from Kaya. Read the stories in WaPo.

She actually ranked Watkins higher than CHM.

Snowden is in even more trouble. She's being investigated for alleged misconduct, including improper use of her government car and using her staff to babysit her child.

How on earth does she still have a job?

The bolded isn't even the worst part. Attempted to secure business for her former clients including Google and Lyft. That is really gross and illegal.

Doesn't the memo dish on her not liking Lowell? I wonder what the issue was.
