His head came off. |
There was one article that said that the injured women said they didn't know what happened because it was so fast. I really hope for their sake that is true. |
I don't think that picture is his head as everyone believes either. It's just a wadded up tarp. How the heck would his head have flown off to the side with all the netting around it? His body slid down the slide and I would bet his head did as well and came to rest under the same tarp as his body. |
This has NOT actually been confirmed. All of the reports are just saying that witnesses are saying this. Some of the more reliable sources say it was an internal decapitation. Although the fact that they haven't denied it makes me think he was decapitated. I would think they would shut that rumor down pretty quickly if it was not true. |
it's hard to imagine farming can be fatal? never thought that would he dangerous profession? quite the opposite |
Not PP, but have you never seen the heavy machinery used on a farm? We're not talking about working in your garden with a trowel and hoe. |
Wow are you crazy? Tons of farmers have missing fingers and torn up limbs from the machinery. That stuff is not a joke. |
You can be decapitated without your head coming off. It's why babies are supposed to sit rear facing because the force of an impact could cause internal decapitation. Doesn't mean their head is clean off their body, it's just when your spinal cord is separated from your skull. Very much could be the case here and decapitation would still be a valid description. |
Every news source out there has confirmed this. What are you reading? |
It has been confirmed he was decapitated. Whether that was internal or external has NOT been confirmed. |
I understand that, but if it were internal, why would there be such a gigantic pool of blood in the water? |
He still flew up and hit the netting and some of that blood also could have been from the women who were injured. |
Also, blood easily dilutes in water. It might look like a ton simply because it's so diluted by water. Those black spots in the pictures aren't blood, they're non-slip mats on the floor of the slide to slow down the rafts. It could look like much more blood than it actually is. |
I agree that might be possible, but it doesn't seem like the most likely explanation, especially since, per the reports, those women suffered minor facial injuries and/or broken bones. But for that poor boy's sake, I hope you are correct and I am wrong. |
I mean, I really don't know. Either option is terrible. It's just that the reports only say decapitation, not which kind, so seeing a tarp on the ground and assuming it's covering his head seems a bit of a leap. Again, how would the head have gotten over there? There's netting around the slide and his body hit that and then slid down. Don't see why the head would not have as well. Eyewitness reports are conflicting because that's how eyewitness reports are. We just don't know and I suppose it doesn't actually matter. |
