10:02 here...

This is a very good example of what I meant by "... a handful of people who are trying to make sure to counter any positive post..."

Get a life people!

So you have mentioned it at least 5 or 6 times in various posts. You I suspect are the only one, as you use the same childish language each time.

Go ask the leadership what enrollment is for the fall. Then you will see that the previous poster is not the only one. Families are voting with their feet. Please, go ask them.

Oh no, that pp isn't the only one to have a miserable WES experience. The WES Way is infamous throughout the ares.

The is a real void of sound decision making from our perspective. My DS, meet the new chaplain candidate today, and he is not even ordained. That makes me wonder of Father Tim is leaving because the church is not allowing priests to stay there.

What decisions are you referring to? Everyone seems very pleased with the interim head. Maybe the new chaplain will be ordained over the summer. Did you ask?

Yes. I did ask and he is not in any ordination process. The decisions I am referring to are decisions to hire teachers with no education background.

I heard Father Tim offered to come back and lead the school chapels. Could that be the reason they would hire someone who isn't ordained?

Our family experienced the "WES Way" and "voted with our feet!"

One or two very persistent anti-WES posters are using the anonymous nature of the forum to dominate the thread and attack WES community and current parents who follow DCUM.

Things are fine at WES. These posts cannot change the facts. Enrollment figures are on the school's website.

So true. They leave me scratching my head. We left another school where we had a terrible experience to go to WES and we don't post things about the old school. We love WES!

And you cannot move on and post positive messages in your new school's thread.

Here are the numbers, from the website. I'd say that 277 kids from pre-K to grade 8 is pretty low.

Enrollment: 277 Students

•48 in Nursery School, Transition, and Kindergarten
•70 in Primary School (Grades 1 - 3)
•72 in Elementary School (Grades 4 - 5)
•87 in Middle School (Grades 6 - 8)

277 is the enrollment for the school year that just ended. Enrollment for the fall is even lower. Call the school and ask.

You clearly are not familiar with WES... WES offers small class sizes.

WES community is small, and it is like a family to us. Everyone is kind and friendly. We love it.

You clearly aren't familiar with WES--the school does have small class size and is getting smaller. The school is under enrolled for Fall '14. 300+ seats is the goal. The school needs more students.
