I wouldn’t be surprised if this is what that die-hard romantic Taylor Swift is hoping happens to her, or that mastermind Taylor Swift is orchestrating behind the scenes. I just don’t see her with TK. At all.

More likely they got engaged weeks ago and then met with their PR team to discuss how best to capitalize on it and then planned Taylor's appearance on the Kelce's podcast to build up to this announcement, which will then boost interest in Travis's first game of the season (additional viewers tuning in just to see Taylor, catch a glimpse of the ring, check out dynamics in the box now that Taylor is a fiancé instead of a girlfriend) which will then ramp up interest in Taylor's album release in October. It's all too perfect not to have been planned.

To be clear, I don't think their relationship is fake -- I think they really care about each other and are getting married because they want to. I just also think they are extremely aware of the way their relationship benefits their careers and makes them money, and are happy to exploit it to further those shared goals.

I agree with everything you said, except I think their relationship is fake as far as she is concerned. It started way too soon after her 2023 crash out, something like a month or two after both her 6yr public relationship and 10yr private love affair ended. Very unhealthy imo.
Maybe she caught feelings for Travis along the way of what was started for PR purposes, but it’s also possible that a pathological people pleaser is just going along with it to please Scott, Tree, and the fans. Very much doubt she is actually truly in love. Travis just isn’t her cup of tea based on her dating history.

No, you don’t have to be married to have kids - but clearly, that’s what they want. She could have had multiple kids with multiple baby daddies by now, a la the Kardashians, but she is choosing to marry first. More power to her.

+1. She was so vulnerable in the summer of 2023 too. I remember a video of her crying uncontrollably in her car after the Detroit show. Was pretty much having a nervous breakdown. And all those heartbreaking surprise songs that summer for her lost love, bringing her on the verge of tears night after night.
