No, it's not a lab. It's an antique.

I’ve been watching The Summer I Turned Pretty with my teen Swiftie DD. Apparently it’s Taylor Swift’s favorite show: she has allowed the creator access to her entire discography, so you get a TS song or two in every episode.

DD and I couldn’t help but see a parallel with the show and Taylor Swift’s life: the main character has always loved this one broody, tortured brother, who left her 4 years ago because he didn’t want to hurt her with his baggage and sadness. He left her “safe and stranded.” Enter his jovial brother, with whom life is fun and easy. He is a frat party boy, not too bright - couldn’t graduate on time - into sports, loves attention and cheats on her the first chance he gets. He is the easier, available choice though, so they get engaged. The week before her wedding, she realizes she is about to make a colossal mistake because she isn’t marrying the person she always pictured and hoped for. The 1. End Game. Loml. Sure enough, that tortured soul confronts her the night before her wedding, on the beach under a full moon, and finally confesses his true feelings and says, don’t marry him. Be with me. Of course loml by TS plays to end the episode.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is what that die-hard romantic Taylor Swift is hoping happens to her, or that mastermind Taylor Swift is orchestrating behind the scenes. I just don’t see her with TK. At all.

Everything in the public arena hints to the opposite of this. Public opinion is Taylor is more smitten with Travis than the other way around

Which is funny because he basically admitted to stalking her (though charmingly) in the summer of 2023.

Now he’s a winner because he’s still playing football.

Watch when he’s no longer a star. Taylor has gone through the valleys. Travis has never reached extreme fame and then hit rock bottom.

Men don’t do well post-football. Adding a baby to the mix will be a disaster.

He just got a $100M for his podcast. He himself is now worth several hundred million and will probably get paid tons to be a brand ambassador.

Those numbers are all fake. Nobody handed him and his brother $100M for a boring ass podcast nobody listens to.

DP. Do you just spend all your time trolling and lying? Get a life.

Well she gave an interview back in 2014 discussing how everyone has that one person who floats in and out of their life, who you feel might interrupt your wedding and be like, ‘Don’t do it, because we’re not over yet.’
So this isn’t an outlandish idea.

41 is gonna be the most devastating album of ALL TIME.

What is 41?

Taylor has an album named 1989 after her birth year. I’m assuming 41 is a reference to what the PP assumes will be her post divorce album title. How sad.

I personally look forward to her motherhood records. I think she’ll pen some of the most beautiful motherhood songs

Robin already brings me to tears. My god.

It seems odd to me that Taylor would settle for a man who prefers curvaceous black women.

Do you like only one type of food, PP? Or one genre of movies? How about only one type of car? It's amazing that people can *gasp* like multiple things, isn't it?

English teacher and gym teacher? More like creepy mean girl and class clown delinquent. This isn’t reality, this is two middle aged narcissists creating a storyline. A storyline plotted by dozens of managers, consultants, and writers. The whole thing is so cringe.

And yet, here you are! Cringe, indeed.

Of course it won’t last. But I hope she gets some kids out of it, that seems like something she really wants

She doesn't have to be married to have children. If she has a child I hope it inherits her intelligence because he is dumb and dumber together.

Right after he signed with CAA. Wow what a coincidence.

Shove it haters. They don’t even care that you stereotype them.

Can you explain what this means?
It means they are in on the joke. They’re very emotionally intelligent people.

I guess the English Teacher/gym teacher thing (she's just making a joke about how she's kind of bookish nerd and he's a jock, it's not that deep) but I don't get your comment. What joke are they in on? They strike me as medium emotionally intelligent -- obviously not totally obtuse but also, like a lot of celebrities, probably a bit oblivious and self-centered. Even posting this announcement in this way speaks to being mildly tone deaf. That's like 40k in flowers for a photo.

She is not actually bookish in any way, just tries to posture as a tumblr girl with a big book collection (books which never get cracked). And Travis basically flunked out of a degree mill he’s so damn dumb.

University of Cincinnati is not a degree mill and he graduated.

He was given an honorary degree, then proceeded to binge drink beers and slam a beer while walking across the stage. Real Mensa candidate.

Nope. He earned a degree. You might not like that, but he did in fact graduate and it wasn't an honorary degree. She has an honorary degree, but his was earned.

As much as football players actually earn their degree!
