I’m not the pendence poster or trash poster, but I’m willing to bet there are Indy parents who are unhappy that their own son’s reputation is being dragged down. How could they not be?

Pendy didn’t even show versus Robinson today. VEL guys said that they called out 90 minutes before game start. How could they not get enough kids to get through a game when club season hasn’t started yet. Bad look when you get placed in the top division

Sounds like the long weekend impacted a lot of games. Multiple forfeits and teams playing with JV guys pulled up to Varsity. Based on helmets Battlefield had kids from 3-4 different schools playing for them.

As I stated yesterday, this whole exchange was a flat out LIE. I was at GMU and had already known that Indy didn’t play, so the first post about any confrontation after the game was just false. The game never happened and no one was there to confront.

This is also false that the pendance poster is an Indy parent. Any parent would have known that the game never happened and would not have posted this as it would show what a fool they are.
I am no Indy fan, I think DW is the wrong guy for that job, BUT flat out lies about the coach and program do not help the case to be made against him.

For all of you that are not “pendance boy”: I highly suggest ignoring any and all posts and consider them fake news. I highly suspect this is a child or parent from Riverside.

To the pendance poster: you are on the line of defamation and libel by posting these things on social media. Though this is an anonymous forum, the admins can be subpoenaed and requested to turn over evidence of your IP address and identity.
If you want to express your opinion and say what you want about DW, go right ahead. I support your right to do so. If you are making up stories to defame another’s character and actions with libel I would love to see legal action taken against you.

I am all for being done with the Independence BS, but this is ridiculous. Calling for legal action against a kid trying to have fun on an anonymous forum is ludicrous. Please, you must have something better to do with your life than losing it over a kid making a couple of jokes about a fall ball lacrosse league.

My post and opinion still stand, sorry if you don’t agree Perhaps you missed the part where I agree that DW is the wrong coach, where I support the right to express opinion, and to have fun, and make jokes- right up to the point of where it turns into a lie.
That line is crossed by making up stories and lying. That, my friend, is called libel. Cross the line and it is no longer “fun” and can have serious implications on both sides.

I never called for legal action, but gave a PSA that it can and does happen. I have no problem if it does for outright libel. I do not have standing so that out of my control, but I am willing to bet that those who do are on this forum.

So why don’t YOU calm down. Maybe educate the kid and tell them there is a line between a lie and an opinion and a joke and that there are serious remedies for things like libel.

Except he's screaming about nothing. First, he has no idea who/how many are saying what. But that doesn't matter, as what he's wailing about, the PP clearly said "a" VEL game. Which would infer not "the game" or "the game this weekend", but another game.
