I don't remember the trike but I remember when the child went out the window. Wrote a song, Tears in Heaven or something like that. Their apartment was many. many stories up I think, like 20 or something.

My older neighbor told me this story from his childhood, about how the neighborhood boys used to play ball outside.

One day one of the neighborhood kids was running without looking to try to catch a ball, and he wound up getting impaled (sp?) on one of those 1950 cars with the sharp back fins. (You car people will know the model.)

P.s.: I think it was a Cadillac Eldorado.

My accountant and his son used to do a summer trip to South Dakota on motorcycles every year. He had a heart attack and died while riding. He ended up going off a ramp already dead. It was a terrible thing for his son to watch.

Oh man, that sucks. But I hope his son was comforted by the fact that it sounds like he died doing something he loved with someone he loved.

I’m a very strong swimmer and was a lifeguard for years. I almost died by a huge wave in Kitty Hawk in 1997 ish. Didn’t see this story when it came out (so sad!!) but it doesn’t surprise me at all given my experience.

Friend of my father's was moving cross country. He was driving a van and his wife was driving their car towing a smaller U-Haul thing. He was behind her on the highway when a car crossed the median and hit her head on.

I still think about that.

No- sounds like a Canyonero.

Most likely was a Krayo Sunsplash

My grand aunt who was 82 and and an overweight spinster who lived in middle of nowhere in Midwest made her one and only trip to NYC.

My sister and brother-in-law took her to Cats in Broadway.

Midway through play she gets up walks to aisle and drops Dead. Literally play stops and someone yells is their a Doctor on the house.

Broadway plays actually often have a doctor on call and he “shocked her back to life” rushed to hospital and lived 5 more years.

She got to survive her freak death

When I see trucks with pipes loaded up on the back I change lanes immediately for this reason.

Someone passed out at a party and another partygoer decided to wake him up with what he thought was a BB gun someone had left on a table. It wasn't.
