Whatabout Trump you mean?

If you had no outrage over Trump then your outrage over Biden is phony and disingenuous. End of story.

And, vice versa. If you were outraged over Trump and your reaction to Biden's possession of classified material is "meh," then you are phony and disingenuous.

Not really. Trump's possession and retention was diproprortionately higher than Biden's. Sorry, you don't get to play the BoTh SiDeS!!! game, because it doesn't apply here.

You sure about that?

We really have NO IDEA how many documents Biden had in his possession. It could be hundreds.
Then, he had documents going back to his Senate days - more than 14 years ago. So, he has held onto these babies for a long time.
So, Biden's retention of documents was WAAYYYY longer than Trump's.

The stuff from when he was in the Senate was no doubt declassified LONG ago.

Then, we should be able to see it. #ShowUsTheDocuments

Let's see what the Special Prosecutor finds.

We really have NO IDEA if Trump is still holding onto more classified documents. Given his refusal to turn over the ones he was known to have in his possession, it is a safe bet to say he has even more hidden away. We really have NO IDEA.

Exactly why both need to be scrutinized. I can’t believe people just accept the word of any politician. People need to get up off their knees and look at what is really going on.

You know.... you can stretch it and justify a president or vice president accidentally having some classified material in their homes since they often have SCIFs created in order to do their jobs.
But you can't do that with materials when you are a Senator.
How did he manage to carry classified materials home when he was in the Senate?????

So they searched the house in Wilmington, but not the house in Rehoboth? Uh huh.

Yeah I'm sure some ancient Senate document about the SALT treaty or some such will be hugely enlightening.

Don't tell me - submit a FOIA.

Or some Ukraine and Russia analysis and strategy documents for the Biden's to consume and make great personal overseas business deals from that insight.

Sad how stupid people don’t realize the immense difference between the two situations.

Either having classified documents is wrong, or it’s not. We were told last year it’s wrong, very wrong. Why not now?

Obstructing an investigation was wrong then and is still wrong.

Yep

Even the Democratic Senators are questioning how he could get classified documents from his Senate years into his home.
I am beginning to think.... based on the lack of transparency from the WH counsel..... that the number of documents found far outnumbers those found at Mar-a-Lago.

The number itself is pretty irrelevant. What matters most if for how long, the type of secrets involved, and of course who else had access to all those locations.

Granted. Full agreement.

Now tell me what's happening when we start hearing how these documents were discovered starting back in November and this was only made public earlier this month. Was this an attempt to hide what was found? Was this information released by the Biden camp or the National Archives? Why is this information trickling out?

We can talk all day long about Trump. I despise him. But this bullshit attempt to say that Biden's little "situation" is any less egregious is a lame attempt at deflection and an absolute ignorance of the law as it relates to the storage and handling of classified materials. Just because his press secy stands up there and repeats the same empty meaningless response every day on this subject doesn't mean the Administration is being transparent.
