This is hardly unique to 30+ set. I know someone who, at 28, found himself on the business end of a paternity test by way of his 22 yr old girlfriend. One of my classmates in law school.

Are we supposed to be sympathetic to these men? Sex leads to pregnancy leads to a need for support. When you have sex this is always a risk, even if “she said she was on the pill.”

If it's a huge age difference then yes it's gross. And I don't agree with men with men but I'm allowed to have those values. Just like you.

How do you know the "lecherous old creep" wasn't born with an attraction to younger woman? What difference does someone being born a certain way or not matter? Uh, no. I posted about the same thing happening in LA. We weren't low quality women. We went to a very expensive school that has a low acceptance rate. When we went out on the weekend, we met guys in their late twenties who paid for everything if we ended up dating any of them. We met older guys too, but nobody was interested in them. We got invited to house parties that were catered with bar tenders. When we hung out with guys our own age, we typically paid for ourselves. So, we did both. The only friend I had in college that was in an actual sugar baby arrangement with a much older man was a gay male who I suspect was working through some trouble, but I couldn't say for sure.

Low quality garbage can still be expensive. Example: BMWs.

A 30yo single mother of two isn't the prize you think she is and she's absolutely with you for the money. She's dating you because men her age wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole.

She is dating you in hopes of giving her kids a better future. To be 30 with 2 kids and divorced is young. I don’t imagine she had much a career going on to have gotten such an early start with marriage and motherhood. You are her children’s college saving plan and their “in” at a good internship.

It’s a gamble on both ends. May you be a man who treats her and her children with respect.
