Guess we get to see these starter/impact players parents’ are claiming joined their child’s team

Loudoun 08 ECNL is not listed on the Loudoun Premier Cup schedule.

No but after checking just now it seems Virginia Union 2008 is in the Loudoun Premier Cup Ha! How sad is it for a club to be so scared to play against VDA and Arlington.

Wut??

Won't they play against Arlington and VDA in league play? Why would any team spend extra money to play the same team they'll play against a couple times a year already?

No it’s called being afraid which further argues that SYC is running Virginia Union. They better beat those low level teams otherwise I would blush big time.

Then I guess Loudoun is hiding too. They are playing up in the second bracket against the mighty 58th ranked Green Castle United FC Fire anf the41st ranked PAC Gold, Meanwhile Arlington and VDA spent money to play against each other and the mighty 41st ranked Baltimore Armour B team.

These mid August pre season tourneys are really quite high stakes.

I certainly hope Loudoun posts the medal ceremony of the second bracket "East Coast Premier Cup Champions".

This tournament is so prestigious that all three ECNL teams NEEDED to play up against B teams and Loudoun still couldn't make the top bracket.

All these mid August tourneys are nothing more than pre-season tune-ups. Relax

Who are you asking?

Loudoun clearly didn’t want to pay to play teams they will play in the league. Seems smart to play up against different teams.

Arlington and VDA flat earthers will need a bit of time to process 😂

Yes, playing Rec teams a year up is certainly a smart move. ROFL.

Probably works out the same as Renting Field and paying for refs and trainers

2 games $350 each

Field rental 4 hours, $100 per hour - $400
3 Refs 2 games $200
Trainer 2 games $100

Whatever. I don’t see the gain in beating teams by 5 goals or more just for the sale of playing someone “different”.

do that again with 2 teams please, or the rest be your profit?

Extra money? DD’s team is playing in that tournament for free. Your team didn’t get the fee waived?

Usually the bigger clubs play for free at these events as they draw more clubs
