I feel like there is a big difference in being a jackass and throwing things and engaging in mutual combat at times and being an abuser who beats your wife on a monthly rotation and has raped your wife with a glass bottle.

No, I don’t believe her. That’s what’s sad. I want to believe her but after watching the trial, I can’t. I think she was wrong to write the OP-Ed and she’s the one that opened the door to someone wanting to defend themselves. If she wanted to be left alone, she could have done it-easily. But she invited the paparazzi into her life-first when she filed for the TRO and second when she wrote the OP-ed.

And exhibit A. You’re a despicable person. No one “invites paparazzi into their life” - by which you really mean “invites creeps to mock and destroy her online in pathetic service to their fandom for her ex*” by writing an op-ed naming no one or getting a protective order.

I can’t wait for the verdict. AH doesn’t deserve this. Vicious creeps like you will have to find purpose in life.

She literally invited tmz to the courthouse

Let’s say for the sake of argument she did. So what. Does that mean all the vile s&$T he did to her never existed and that he never abused her remotely in any way, shape, or form?

And seemingly sent them a video of her and Johnny having an argument. Directly to TMZ.

As for Johnny‘s text messages, they can all be read in the context of post fight apologies. He never mentions being physically violent or sexually abusive. This was clearly a toxic relationship. There is no doubt about that. But if Amber had the mountains of evidence she claims, you would expect to see more evidence of physical injury to her and not using the same photo twice as evidence for two separate incidents.

Go to hell. This thread has been a nightmare of misogyny. The Depp fans here are despicable assholes.

Again, her filing a TrO and posting the OpEd never negated the fact that he was a nightmare to live with and probably engaged in some sort of abusive behavior towards her. Which is literally all that is in question in this trial. Why are people so easily distracted.

Because she has been dishonest the whole time. People are having a hard time reconciling her continued and flagrant dishonesty with her allegations.

+1. I’m the former pro bono attorney, and it makes my heart ache to see so much misinformation and ignorance about abuse being promoted here. Thieve types of attitudes exhibited here are a big reason why domestic violence is so insidious.

Well, not that's not quite right. DV is insidious, the attitudes here are a reflection of a microcosm of ignorant and ill informed people.

Deliberately so. They aren’t normal. They are idiots reacting to a paid-for, multi-year social media campaign by Depp to destroy his ex. I’m not sad for these posters, they make me sick. And they can’t be reasoned with. I’m so sorry for anyone who suffered DV and reads this thread. The “female survivors who can’t help but support JD because Amber simply isn’t a victim!” can each burn in hell.

Why don’t you burn first!!!!!!!! Biatch

Unfortunately many people lack critical thinking skills and are easily manipulated.

The verdict doesn’t really matter. If Depp wins he knows she doesn’t have 50 million and never will and she probably won’t win either. I imagine they both walk away with nothing but Johnny Depp got what he wanted. She’ll never work again and is publicly disliked.

I hope JD never works again. His texts alone make him so vile that I’ll never watch a movie he’s in. And the images I have when I think of him now are him passed out in his own piss. Disgusting.

You’re unhinged PP. AH literally invited the paparazzi and TMZ into her life. TMZ testified that AH contacted them with the story about her life and dysfunctional marriage.

As far as him never mentioning post fight physical injuries, he may not be so stupid as to do that. Notice how he couches responsibilities for his vile behavior as “the Monster”, and therefore takes no responsibility for it himself. Also how bad does an “argument “ have to be to call oneself The Monster, and write a groveling apology note. Why didn’t he talk to her directly also.

And for requiring AH to have better photo and video evidence, you are requirng her to have a literal burden of proof for every incident, to be meticulously documented. That is insane and misogynistic. Like, “Hold that pose right there JD of you scrawling insane garbage on the mirror. Hold that pose of you about to tear a sconce off the wall.” So that I can bring it court to defend myself while 7 billion people scrutinize me and judge with whatever extremely limited “knowledge “ they have of reality, in a fight against their favorite Halloween pirate character.” WTF.

Maybe. Maybe not. Consider it provoking or fighting back against someone who said people who have a different opinion should burn in hell. Interesting how you did not call that poster abusive.

Am I in the minority here for thinking that based on the evidence I saw presented (and I've now watched the entire trial) they BOTH exhibited negative and sometimes abusive behavior and I wouldn't have been able to tolerated EITHER of them?
