He is such a despicable person. What kind of parent does that to their own child?

Does what? It was liberal Pamela Karlan that brought his son into this debacle.

Not as despicable as the woman who made the joke.

She was fundraising? How much did she make?

He is making his child a centerpiece of political fundraising, stirring up false controversy. He loses all right to complain about a comment on the irony of his name. It was a dumb comment, but what he is doing far exceeds that and further illustrates his unbearable narcissism at the expense of his child.

It was one sentence in an eight-hour hearing. No one would have said anything about it without Melania’s tweet.

I was working yesterday. I couldn’t watch the testimony
Did Turley really make the argument that Bribery, extortion, obstruction of justice, abuse of power, campaign finance violations are no big deal?

He said we’re proving them too fast, or something.

This explains how the phone records obtained by the House undercuts the GOP position.

Basically, he said that the Democrats needed to give republican a chance to realize that Trump is totally unethical and acts in a clearly illegal manner and we should have a longer impeachment hearing so they can come to their senses.

In a way I agree with him (although I'm not convince that some Republicans' immunity to absorbing facts in this case will ever give way to a rational respect for our democracy and a distaste for treason) but if that's the best the Republicans can do, they are toast.

You know what’s depressing about this whole effed up mess? We’ve seen piece after piece after piece of people very painstakingly undercutting, destroying, dismantling, whatever the GOP traitor position and NOTHING IS REALLY GOING TO CHANGE. Everyone damn one of those gop traitors knows full well what they’re doing, knows full well what Donald has done (Ukraine is but the example because there was a whistleblower. How many other times has he done this?), is fully on board with betraying their county.

It literally makes me want to vomit.

Yes, Turley made some good points in theory, but the problem is that he knows very well this White House is corrupt and that the points he's making are serving to shield them from the consequences of their actions. He is knowingly enabling their obstruction and lies. This could mean that he's an idealist; or that he's angling for a position at Fox News or advising the White House, which would make him just another money or power-grubbing sycophant.

Given his history, it's unfortunately the latter.

How does he suggest this occurs given the obstruction of Congress with the entire Executive branch ignoring subpoenas. They have already presented compelling evidence from numerous people with direct knowledge and they have the transcript and of course Mulvaney on camera and Rudy on camera. They have proven their case

He still thinks the Democrats should subpoena everything and everybody that they haven’t gotten yet and wait for the courts to decide on everything. Given their undefeated record so far they will, but it could take years. I don’t get it either.

Think again.
Even a poster on here said it was the best line of the hearing.....

This was the best line:

"The President can name his son Barron but not make him a baron."

https://twitter.com/KlasfeldReports/status/1202315327889125377

And, it was trending on Twitter, so people DID notice.

He said that the Democrats' charges have not been proven. Period.
