Chess>checkers. The last games were set ups. Superior game plan by Indy.

When are the Virginia Publics going to start playing Shot Clock?

NY was the first state with publics playing under NFHS rules to test the shot clock this year. It seems inevitable but will probably take a few more years for it to hit VA.

Game was back and forth for the first 12 minutes. Indy puts up 5 unanswered in the 2nd and controls the game for the next 12 minutes. CNU North comes out in the 4th strong but Indy comes in clutch in critical moments of the 4th.

Better team gets the W.

That's his go to move! Aka state championship 2018.

Lost a lot of respect for him after last night. The refs actually checked every stick before the game yesterday. The only way a defensive stick would be illegal at that point was if the rain stretched the pocket a little. I guess if you want to win a game that way that’s your prerogative, but it’s a bush league move.

Coaches call stick checks in college, typically on fogos. If a stick is illegal, I don’t know why you wouldn’t contest it. Seems stupid to let the other team have a cheating advantage.

It was a desperation ploy because his team was getting outplayed. The stick wasn't illegal and there was no cheating advantage. Langley was just better.

Any reasonable coach would have called that stick check at that exact time. The pole held the ball through several tough checks in the middle of an exit and the turnover would have kept madison in the game at a crucial moment when it was necessary. Didn't work out in their favor but that is what good coaches do.

Great job by that pole. He probably won langley the game with the GB and run out and he deserves credit but the check was warranted.

They’ve got to TRY to make it a fair game for Robinson’s opponents.

As long as Robinson is in, who cares?

Cosby wins 11-10 in OT and gets the #1 seed in Region A. Deep Run gets the #2.

LaxNumbers score may be wrong. Deep Run IG post has it 5-3 Cosby.

CNU North just got outplayed, out hustled and lost to the better team. Now we sit back and watch Pendance take the VHSL Class 5 State Championship home.
