I agree. So have a full investigation, not some partisan questioning. Do it properly. Subpoena people. Let's get to the bottom of this.

I’ve been saying that since Dr. Ford came forward.

Great. So what could be wrong with that?

Oh yeah, Trump wants to put him through no matter what because he's the only judge who would make him immune to the law.

Ugh, people are totally exaggerating Kav’s views on that.

And Trump's. He's not wedded to this nominee. He'll withdraw him when it becomes too inconvenient.

When did Gorsuch graduate from this high school? Did he know Kavanaugh? Did he run in the same circles? Has this been covered in this thread? What does Gorsuch know about rape trains? Small enough school, he would know someone involved, wouldn’t he? These alleged facts are so outrageous, wouldn’t Gorsuch have some responsibility to confirm or deny them?

No one has implicated him. Remember, this allegation only dropped this morning. I'm not sure if he should say anything, and he's probably taking time to think about it, wait and see what happens. Will there even be a hearing or a vote?

I can't sit by and let this go anymore. Done!!!

This whole situation is not okay. NOT OKAY.

Fully agree with you. It's madness.

I called my son and warned him to be careful spending time with women who could turn out to be unstable.
I cannot imagine having a false allegation thrown at him.

One of the small ‘s’ sad things that happens every time there is a public accusation of sexual assault is that we have to listen to women who have so fully internalized the misogyny they were taught at the knee that their instinct is to blame the women. It’s just sad.

Yeah. Or you could just tell your son to be polite, respectful, always ask for consent, and never approach a woman who is intoxicated except to help.

Sure ...to help...no f’ing way. Your son should run the other way! That could go wrong in so many ways. Women would never help him but he is expected to rescue her...lol. Not in today’s world.

You sure do take a dim view of human nature.

After seeing that a woman can make an uncorroborated accusation after 35 years with no recall of where and when and still have the consequences we've seen these last weeks, then it seems that men AND women will need to be especially careful in any kind of partying situation that involves alcohol.

I made a thread on this. I think the consensus was for such was a nerd and didn't like to hang out with girls.

This is corroborated when comparing gorsuch’s prep yearbook with kavs

It is polar opposite. Neil’s yearbook blurb is someone who is a weirdo library type.

Keep up, you moron. Why do you think there are 11th hour allegations? It's because the Republicans elected to try to ram this nomination through - a committee vote on Friday morning less than 24 hours after tomorrow's hearing? No wonder these accusers are coming in now. When else are they supposed to disclose? After the committee vote? Even if he is nominated, the bench is soiled, and this is never going away. The Dems will keep at it until he is destroyed. Where there is one rape and sexual assault, there is usually more, a lot more in a pattern of behavior.

But, you keep your illusion of a spear campaign going if it makes you feel better honey.

Here's a thought: maybe if they actually had credible accusations, they could have disclosed them months, or even YEARS ago! Imagine that! But no, they've decided to come forward with these extremely doubtful claims now, on the eve of the hearing. How bizarre. I can't imagine why.

Please take a moment to remember that Comstock is Kavanaugh's friend and is waiting for a clear sign to drop him.

Apparently all the ones here haven't been enough.

Quit with the "uncorroborated" crap.

Add Senator Collins to the list of people wondering why Mark judge wasn’t subpoenaed to testify.

Sen. Susan Collins, who could determine whether Brett Kavanaugh gets a lifetime seat on the Supreme Court, raised serious concerns at a private meeting about the newest allegations of inappropriate behavior against the nominee -- and questioned why the Senate Judiciary Committee had not subpoenaed a close friend of the federal judge.

Multiple sources familiar with the private Wednesday meeting told CNN that Collins appeared unnerved by the latest allegation, citing in particular that it was a sworn statement sent to the panel, which carries with it the possibility of perjury for lying to Congress.

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s polygraph exam was released on Wednesday, and it reveals another inconsistency in her claim about an alleged assault by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

In her handwritten statement included in her polygraph, Ford claims that there were “4 boys and a couple of girls at the party.”

In her letter to Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Ford claimed that there were “four others” present. She also told The Washington Post that there were “four boys at the party” and two — Kavanaugh and his friend, Mark Judge — in the room where the assault allegedly occurred.

No one can corroborate an event that has no place and date.

I have heard zilch about Gorsuch having anything to do with gang rapes at his school, but it would be fitting if Trump’s two SC nominees were gang rapists.

If Kavanaugh were innocent I think Mark Judge would be the first person he'd want to testify.
