I know it happened with Gtown Prep boys at the time. Whether this specific allegation is true, I don't know.

How do you know?

DP. What’s crazy to me is that a separate woman who dated Mark Judge already said Mark confessed this to her, and yet....people still don’t believe it. You will never believe it, because you simply don’t want to.

+1
If they admit that this is a possibility that Kavanaugh, an allegedly shiny and perfect SC nom did this, they’re going to have to rethink many, many things. And that’s a difficult switch that many people are not willing to make. Hence the doubling down.

No one answered me when I asked: is it that men don’t know that gang rapes actually happen here in America? Someone upthread was saying that it only happens in war torn countries - sorry, bub. It happens here, too.

And, according to the accuser, it happened multiple times - 10 to be exact, and NOBODY EVER REPORTED ANY OF IT.
That, my friend, is simply unbelievable.

That is not what she said. She did not say she witnessed 10 gang rapes.

I have a difficult time believing that hundreds of gymnasts could be molested by a single osteopathic physician over decades, and not report it.

If that can happen at Michigan State, then any of this is possible too.

You, my friend, should check out the news. There's some guy called Bill Cosby. He tried that defense, doesn't seem to have worked very well for him.

Yeah just like the Cosby rapes.

Oh, wait...

Also I have spent the last 2 days all over twitter, reading everything possible, and making donations to multiple candidates for midterms who are not in my state.

I can't sit by and let this go anymore. Done!!!

This whole situation is not okay. NOT OKAY.

Same! Beto O'Rourke.

I also agree this is not okay. I hope women vote in droves in November.

Or that numbers of boys could be abused by priests, many knew, but no one spoke up or did anything about it. For decades.

Fully agree with you. It's madness.

I called my son and warned him to be careful spending time with women who could turn out to be unstable.
I cannot imagine having a false allegation thrown at him.

False accusations are the least of the reasons not to go around sticking it into crazy.

One of the small ‘s’ sad things that happens every time there is a public accusation of sexual assault is that we have to listen to women who have so fully internalized the misogyny they were taught at the knee that their instinct is to blame the women. It’s just sad.

Yeah. Or you could just tell your son to be polite, respectful, always ask for consent, and never approach a woman who is intoxicated except to help.

Sure ...to help...no f’ing way. Your son should run the other way! That could go wrong in so many ways. Women would never help him but he is expected to rescue her...lol. Not in today’s world.

I believe the first woman, Dr. Ford.
She came out when no one expected it, against someone whom the public saw as purer than snow.
She had the guts to be first, suffered death threats andhad to go into hiding. Her kids had to be escorted to school by police.
She had everything to lose and nothing to gain by coming out with such allegations.

Supreme Court Judges need to have unimpeachable character and integrity.

This taint is enough to disqualify him.

Every nominee thereafter, man or woman, Democrat or Republican, had better watch out. We will not tolerate any hint of abusive pasts.

I agree. So have a full investigation, not some partisan questioning. Do it properly. Subpoena people. Let's get to the bottom of this.

I’ve been saying that since Dr. Ford came forward.

Great. So what could be wrong with that?

Oh yeah, Trump wants to put him through no matter what because he's the only judge who would make him immune to the law.

hmmm

Neil was nice. Bart was the choo-choo train conductor, if you follow. And it caught up with him. Karma.

And those who did speak up, well...Sinead O’Connor

Ugh, people are totally exaggerating Kav’s views on that.

Yes. Absolutely. And also tell our sons AND daughters to remain sober and extremely careful of whom they choose for a sexual partner.

You sure do take a dim view of human nature.
