I'm going to provide the best reply so far to this one. If this were a hearing in the court of law you would have evidence, witnesses and depositions. This was not. There was no call to re-open the FBI background on Kavanagh either.

It is astounding to me that people still think sexual misconduct/assault is only believable if someone else witnessed it, or videotaped it. or watched it happen on the 50-yard line during Monday Night Football.

It's a sexual crime. Absent a rape kit, it's almost aways a he-said/she-said thing. If only someone had witnessed this incident....

Wait! Someone did! Wish we could actually hear from him. But that would take time and cause delays and we can't delay putting a justice on the SCOTUS....

And whose house was this gathering at? There were only 5-6 people there and all have been named except for one - the person whose house it was? That makes no sense. Maybe it’s someone who already has a high appointment and everyone has agreed to not bring it up?

That's what it takes to beat filth like you.
No one but Trump could beat a dirty dealer like Clinton.
More like Trump will beat the Democrat dirty dealers.

Polite, honest conservatives are no match for the scumballs.

Ha ha ha. Gorsuch had no problems. But you know his hobbies weren't getting drunk and raping people so there is that!

Do you mean his sister and his mother?

He’s an only child.

She wrote the letter to Feinstein on July 30 and started interviewing lawyers almost right away. Katz was recommended to her by Feinstein. Interestingly Feinstein didn't send the letter to the chairman or the FBI, but advised her to hire a lawyer and do a poly first. The prosecutor pointed out the right process to deal with it is to do a forensic interview in confidence.

And, the lawyers did not tell her that the committee was willing to interview her in California. They told the committee that she did not want to fly-so, she needed more notice to get here.
So, two lies from her lawyer: she wouldn't fly and they withheld information from Ford about interview possibilities.

And, Feinstein fixed her up with a "Resist" lawyer. And, Feinstein did not share her accusation with the Chair--kind of a big faux pas in Senate procedures. You know, comity, and all that........

If anyone wanted to seriously try to figure this out, it could be investigated.

I know. He is aggressive and belligerent when sober! When speaking to the GOP hired prosecutor! When speaking with senators!

He should not drink alcohol at all. And no freaking way his wife didn't know he was a giant asshole.

Way overacted. There's no way you get through that many elite institutions without knowing how to control your feelings for a few hours. It was not at all believable, not one bit. Trump gave him stage directions "seem angry! defend yourself!" and he followed them.

Ford: I don’t think so.

Mitchell: Do you know who did?

Ford: Not yet, no.

The lawyers said they paid for it! Did you not watch?!
She also said she has had to move twice since then.

And?

Polys cost hundreds/thousands. They are not free. She doesn't know "yet" who paid for it?

What does moving have to do with who paid for the poly?

Her lawyers paid for the poly. They are working pro bono. Two gofund me accounts have raised almost half a million dollars.

Then why didn’t she just say her lawyers paid?

Simple.

Because she didn’t know that for sure.

As if she's a bimbo. Ok.

Don’t you put words in my mouth. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Ford and I did not call her a bimbo. I said that there was no way for her to know for sure who had paid for the polygraph yet. She hadn’t paid and she hadn’t received an invoice because she’s been in at least three different places since it was administered. And at that point her lawyers hadn’t yet told her that they were going to pay for it.

I believe fully and wholeheartedly she is lying.

Well she did lie about flying. Supposedly she didn’t want to come to DC because she would have to fly. Turns out she flew to DC in the summer to see family in Rehoboth and has flown to many destinations around the world

I completely believe the assault occurred, but she has no evidence of who did it. The fact that she fell apart for the remainder of high school and two years of college never raised her parents concern or that of a Holton-Arms Arms counselor. People of her SES would have had her at a shrink.

I know - why??

Crickets. She's just fine about flying all over the world. She lied again and again. Sad.

Kavanaugh was barely confirmed last time. He was not a good choice.

Frankly, Dr Ford did herself no favors today. The naive little girl act was ridiculous. She came across as a very dim bulb.

Plus a lot of entitlement. This process was not about you, with all due respect Judge Kavanaugh. It's about the country and what the country needs to hear. You should have sat there calmly and told the facts and done your job. If you can't put your ego and self aside for something as momentous as this, you're unfit to serve.

Crickets? There were pages of responses to this question already.
