It's getting attention because of the daughter. I guarantee you if you mother or mine had the same experience it would get little or no national press.

Polly Klass and Elizabeth Smart were both snatched from their homes and hot this same level of attention, even pre internet and before we had 24 hour viral news cycles.

What a ridiculous comment. Just because certain kidnappings randomly (and not so random because it's often a narrow set of demographics) get attention doesn't mean the average person does. Are you serious? The average person will never be kidnapped. This is extremely rare which is why it gets attention.

Also with desert snd the border not far away, as well as Nancy's heart health, age, and mobility issues, people are assuming the worst outcome.

Not sure if it is a news update, but a 4th email was sent to tmz, from the same person again wanting the reward money for info about Nancy(sent to bitcoin address) The person states that she was taken to Mexico, by a few people and that he knows the identities. He said he is afraid of coming forward bc he has a past record of theft. Harvey spoke to the camera saying, if he is lying, it will be a felony. If it is true, to reach out to TMZ with the information as record, and they will forward to the FBI. If all is true, he will get the reward.

There are plenty of VERY smart people at the FBI. It’s very difficult to get hired and lots of people can’t pass the background and polygraph and the physical requirements for agents, and the working environment can be difficult for those who want a family and work life balance. Also recent events being what they are with the administration.

Even if you became an officer with the Tuscon or other local PD … cases like this come around once in a generation. Usually you’d be doing traffic stops and shoplifting busts, and de-escalating domestic situations.

Also, TMZ is so sleazy. Milking this for all it's worth. Wouldn't be surprised if they were sending themselves ransom notes. Look at all the publicity they are getting.

I am hoping that they can match the DNA on the black glove that was found by Nancy’s house……hopefully that will lead the authorities to whoever committed this terrible crime. 😨

I just read that some experts think the crime started out as a home burglary then ended up as an abduction.

She looks like she has not slept these past few wks.
I think being in limbo (not knowing!) is the worst feeling one can feel.
