It's a video but there's a shot of her from the side and her little pooch seems too high to be a postpartum pooch, IMO.

Wow, she was actually on the verge of tears or in tears for this entire clip.
If the interviewer had been Katie Couric or Barbara Walters (back in the day) or Ellen, this would have been a 3 hankie event.
Still, so vulnerable.

She seems pretty real here.

She’s acting. It’s a PR spin in an attempt to control the well deserved negativity in the press. Americans might lap this us, but he Brits and most in Europe don’t. Go back to Hollywood.

As an American, I see it. i can't stand her.

I think she looks great. I'm not one to rip a woman's body. But she's a B lister who climbed from Suitcase Game Show Gal to duchess. And her acting skills (for whatever they're worth) have at least helped with her image in this role.

She's an actress. This melodrama is not surprising when trying to repair your image and win public sympathy.

We disagree.

I don't disagree. I'm sure the Queen is beside herself with this melodramatic call for attention.

The Queen is “beside herself”? The imagination of some of you pps is pretty amazing. The Queen’s been through some shit—for example, her son is currently accused of being a major perv, her other son cheated on his wife with Camilla and their extremely embarrassing private conversations were made public, her daughter in law was caught on camera getting her toes sucked by a random guy, her other ex-daughter in law died tragically from paparazzi chasing her, her grandson was photographed wearing a Nazi uniform and also naked, her other grandson was accused of cheating on his wife with the wife’s friend, her granddaughter in law was photographed topless....that’s just some of the personal side, not to mention all the political stuff she has dealt with.

I have to assume she would not be “beside herself” because her granddaughter in law, a new mother who has been the subject of negative news stories, gave an interview in which she was somewhat choked up. Old girl has other stuff to deal with, I hope.
Poor Megan, but I'm so proud of her for being honest.

'Meghan told Bradby it’s a “very real thing to be going through behind the scenes” and replied “yes” when asked if it’s “really been a struggle” and she’s “not really ok”.'

I can't get the video to work ugh.
I mean, they did just sue the media so to get public opinion on their side, talking about it doesn’t seem unreasonable. And this doesn’t seem over the top to me.

Such an attention hound. “Poor me, no one has asked how I am.”

Did you think you were going to marry a royal and be left alone? Oh honey. You love this attention. And if you really had some sort of legit mental problems, you have 20x the resources of the average mom, who just pulls herself up by her bootstraps and gets on with it.

No, they complain on DCUM.

I am not one of the Meghan-bashers but I have to say that I have to reach really, really deep to find any sympathy at all for a woman who never has to work again, is married to a prince, and can outsource literally anything that's mildly uncomfortable in her life. What is there to not be OK about?

Everything is not about money. She could still be lonely, depressed, have anxiety or ppd. She is a foreign land without any apparent real friends or family close by. The baby could difficult, she could be missing her mom and maybe even missing her career. Nobody’s life is as perfect as it seems.

Meghan lived in Toronto for years but she made close friends there. During her engagement, everyone from the local soup kitchen to the retail owners had good things to say about her.

She spent time at the houses of friends and their family. I think she misses that and I imagine she never thought married life would have her isolated in the middle of nowhere as well.

Of course not but you'd be surprised how much of it is. Pain is a part of life; no one goes through it without tasting loneliness or anxiety or depression, and the fact that one feels it doesn't make it newsworthy. I mean, I miss my mom too - would anyone make a movie about it? no. Her mom can move any time she wants, and she has ample resources to isolate herself from the baby difficulties. I am not saying that she never feels sad; just that the lip-quivering about normal everyday life doesn't really move me.

She misses her girl posse so bad. Totally understandable.

(I still think she's pg with #2)

No, she cannot.

She would need to uproot her entire life, one that she's worked damned hard to build in order to move to a brand-new country.
She'd need a visa, which thanks to Brexit is even more stringent a process than ever.
The press would eat her alive. Remember during the engagement the merest hint that Meghan's mother would move into a taxpayer-funded house had them spitting mad?
She can't afford to buy a near-London home of her own, especially not an estate which would be private from prying press eyes and would allow Archie and other grandkids to have a safe childhood.

William bought the Middletons a $7.3 million mansion and the press weren't even hard on them for it but its nothing compared to what would happen if Harry moved his MIL into a 2-bedroom shack. Hell, he even got a royal protection detail assigned JUST to their mansion.

Of course you do you, but even everyday life can be a struggle, and sometimes we need someone to to just ask “Hey how are you today?” And sincerely want to hear the answer. Side note, I was in Banana Republic and had just that type of interaction with the sales guy. It was almost closing and I asked the guy “How’s it going today” and looked up and said “To tell the truth, terrible”. He went on to tell me why it was going terrible, but what I found the most interesting, is that he said no one had asked him all day how he was doing. He had helped maybe 100 or more people, and no one asked. She just had a baby, the aftermath can be a struggle. I just don’t understand why so many of you are lacking of compassion for another human being. And think she is being fake.

weird that she spends Christmases with friends, not her actual family (or mom) ... she seems like she latches on to whoever is nearby and can benefit her
