From what I have read and heard, they will be taken into custody. It has something to do with our laws and not preventing people seeking asylum from entering.
These migrants have been warned they could be held for months, and separated from their children. So, they should know what they are facing.
Our govt has also said that anyone making false statements will be prosecuted. And, anyone seeking asylum under false pretenses will be prosecuted.

My issue is if they were truly seeking asylum - they just traversed through Mexico. They could have sought asylum there.

And yes it concerns me A LOT because legal immigrants and citizens have employers that take in these illegals and exploit them and push out older LEGAL workers because they know they can hire a cheap illegal one and no one bats an eye. Plenty of sexual harassment at these workplaces as well. My relative gets constant remarks on her breasts and butt by fellow illegal men at work.
